Hanoi
A full-day group city tour starts with pickup from your hotel. You'll head to Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island, then move through the Ho Chi Minh Complex and One Pillar Pagoda. After that comes the Vietnam Ethnology Museum (or Vietnamese Women's Museum if the first one is closed), followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Hanoi to Sapa
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll have some free time before a limousine picks you up for the drive to Sapa. You'll stay overnight in the mountains, so pack accordingly for the trip up.

- Day 4
Sapa
A group trekking tour takes you 6km down to Y Linh Ho village where the Black H'mong people live in Muong Hoa valley. From there, you'll trek 2km to Lao Chai village through terraced rice fields, then continue to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority. Lunch happens with a local family where you'll learn about their homes and daily routines. After eating, you trek 2km to the bus stop and take a jeep or minivan back to Sapa.

Sapa to Hanoi
Your group trek starts with a 4km walk southwest to Cat Cat village of the Black H'mong people. You'll relax by a waterfall and check out what's left of a French colonial hydroelectric power station. A picnic lunch happens by the river, then you'll trek 3km to Sin Chai village at the foot of Fansipan Mountain. After taking in the views, a jeep returns you to Sapa, and a limousine then drives you back to Hanoi.

The boat anchors for the night in a scenic spot, and don't miss the sunset before dinner.

Hue
A full-day group city tour picks you up between 8:00 and 8:30am. You'll start with a 30-minute scenic dragon boat cruise on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hue. Next comes the Imperial Citadel, then Dong Ba Market where you'll experience the local energy. After lunch, you'll try an herbal foot bath before visiting Khai Dinh King's Tomb and Minh Mang King's Tomb. The tour includes stops at a conical hat village and incense stick village where you can try things firsthand before returning to your hotel.

Hoi An
Your guide picks you up for a walking tour through Hoi An's ancient town. You'll see the famous Japanese Covered Bridge built in the 16th century and learn its history. The tour includes Tan Ky, a 200-year-old Vietnamese merchant house showing Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese design mixed with Feng Shui principles. Then you'll visit Fujian Assembly Hall, an important Chinese business club. A hands-on lantern-making workshop lets you create a souvenir to take home. Your half-day group tour to Cu Chi underground tunnels departs at 8:00am for the 60km trip outside Ho Chi Minh City, taking about 1.5 hours. Once there, you'll get an introduction to Cu Chi's role during the American war and watch a documentary about the tunnel system. You'll walk through the tunnels including weapon factories, hospitals, and kitchens, and even crawl through some sections yourself. Try manioc, the food that sustained guerilla warriors. There's an optional shooting range where you can fire AK47, MK16, or machine guns if interested. The tour ends back in Saigon.

Phnom Penh

Next comes Silver Pagoda, which holds cultural treasures including a 90kg golden Buddha covered with 2,086 diamonds. You'll see Wat Phnom Temple, one of Phnom Penh's most important pagodas built in 1373 on an artificial hill by widow Daun Chi Penh. In the afternoon, you'll visit Tuol Sleng Museum, the S-21 prison where over 17,000 people were held by Pol Pot's security forces. Siem Reap
After breakfast, a private boat ride and guide take you onto Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia's largest permanent freshwater lake that flows into the Mekong River at Phnom Penh. You'll observe a unique fishermen's floating village with floating schools, a floating police station, and other structures built on water. The village moves with water levels and currents, creating an interesting landscape. After exploring the lake, you'll transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
