Itinerary
- Day 1
Frankfurt
You'll arrive in Frankfurt and have the afternoon to kill before your Rhine cruise departs at 19:00. This is Germany's financial center with that famous skyline of skyscrapers, but it's also Goethe's hometown, so there's real history mixed in with the banking vibes. Grab lunch somewhere in the Altstadt, walk around the half-timbered buildings, or check out one of the museums if you've got energy. The city center is walkable and you won't feel rushed since boarding isn't until evening.

- Walk along the Main river
- Explore the banking district and high-rises
Landmarks Goethe House Frankfurt Main River

Wertheim
The ship pulls into Wertheim around midday and you're docked until 21:00, so you've got a solid eight hours here. This medieval town is small enough that you can cover it all on foot. The narrow streets wind between half-timbered houses, and the old market square gives you that classic German town feel. There's a ruined castle up on the hill if you want a walk with a view, but the city walls and alleyways are worth wandering through too. Grab dinner before heading back to the ship.

Würzburg
Midday arrival in Würzburg, departure at 18:00 gives you about six hours. This place sits on the Main river and it's known for wine and history more than anything else. The Marienberg fortress looks down on everything from across the river, and if you've got the legs for it, the walk up there is worth it for the views. The city itself has university energy but also that episcopal heritage in the architecture. Pick up some Franconian wine before you leave if that interests you.
