Itinerary
- Day 1
Tromsø to Kilpisjärvi
You'll land in Tromsø and pick up your rental car, then drive along one of Norway's most scenic routes toward Kilpisjärvi in Finland, about 160 km taking roughly 2.5 hours. The drive itself is part of the experience here. Once you arrive at Tundrea Lodge, you'll check in and settle into your room with views over the lake and mountains. Dinner happens at the hotel restaurant that evening.

Landmarks Kilpisjärvi 
- Day 2
Kilpisjärvi
Today focuses on the tri-border area where Sweden, Finland, and Norway all meet. You can hike between 10 and 30 km round trip through the landscape to reach this landmark, or if you're visiting in winter, snowmobile safaris are the way to go instead. After getting back, you'll have dinner in a traditional lavvu, which is a Sami tent, and then relax in a jacuzzi overlooking the lake.

Alta
This is a free day at Arctic Wilderness Lodge Sorrisniva. Since you've already done the Alta River boat tour and rock carvings the day before, now you can relax and take advantage of the lodge's facilities. The property is excellent for viewing the Northern Lights when the season allows from late fall onward. You'll have another 5-course dinner at the restaurant.

Lake Inari
You have a free day to spend around Lake Inari in the Arctic wilderness. Explore the area on your own, visit the Sami Siida Inari cultural center nearby, or just relax at the hotel and take in the lake views. Dinner is at the restaurant.

Landmarks Lake Inari 
- Day 7
Lake Inari to Honningsvag
Today's drive covers roughly 480 km through the Nordic interior, passing through the region known as Ödemark. You'll cross back into Norway and follow the west shore road to Honningsvag, Europe's northernmost town. Check into The View Hotel with sea view rooms. Later, make the trip about 40 km north to North Cape, which gives you views toward the North Pole. The drive takes around 6 hours total.

Uloya Island
You have a full free day on Uloya Island. Relax in the panorama lounge, use the spa and relaxation areas, or join optional activities either on the island or out on the fjord. The family-run lodge provides an authentic Arctic experience with chances to learn about Sami culture and coastal traditions. Dinner happens at the lodge.

Tromsø
Your Arctic journey ends this morning after breakfast at Clarion The Edge Hotel. You'll depart Tromsø with memories of the Arctic north.
