Arrival in Ivalo
You'll arrive individually in Ivalo and get transferred to Hotel Ivalo. Once you're settled in, dinner happens at the hotel where you can relax in the bar after traveling.

- Day 2
Ivalo
This is your day to acclimate to the Arctic winter and soak in the quiet surroundings. You can rent snowshoes, ice skates, or cross-country skis and explore around the hotel at whatever pace works for you.

- Day 3
Ivalo
Head across the river to a husky farm on a peninsula where you'll meet the sled dogs. The musher gives you a briefing, then you and your partner head out on a dog sled for about 8 to 10 km through the winter landscape, taking turns at the reins.

Landmarks Husky Farm - Day 4
Ivalo
After your guide gives you instructions, you'll ride a snowmobile through the snow-covered floodplains around the River Ivalo. You'll share vehicles and alternate driving during this roughly 2-hour adventure.

- Day 5
Ivalo
The morning and afternoon are yours to do as you like. In the evening, you'll go on a sleigh ride into the wilderness where the night sky is clear and dark. There's a real chance to see northern lights, and warm drinks and a snack come along. The whole experience takes about 1.5 hours.

Ivalo
After putting on snowshoes, you'll hike with a guide through the snowy landscape toward a reindeer farm. You'll get to meet the reindeer in their natural Arctic setting. Plan for roughly 2 to 2.5 hours.

Ivalo
Pick your Arctic activity for today. You can either take a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snow-covered Lappish forests, or go for something faster and do ice karting on the track across the river.
