Arrival in Crete
You'll land at Heraklion Airport and hop on a bus that takes you straight to your hotel in either Gouves or Chersonissos. After getting settled in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the area however you like. Dinner's on the house tonight.

- Day 2
Spinalonga Island and Elounda
After breakfast, someone picks you up for a guided tour over to Spinalonga Island, which has quite a history as a former leper colony and Venetian fortress (locals call it the 'island of tears'). You'll walk around with a guide to learn about it, then sail across to Elounda where there's a traditional Cretan lunch waiting. From there you've got free time to walk through the village, hit some shops, or jump in the water before heading back to the hotel.

- Day 3
Palace of Knossos and Heraklion
Start with breakfast at the hotel, then get transferred to the Palace of Knossos, a Minoan palace from around 1900 BC. A guide shows you around and explains all the mythology tied to the place. Later, you'll check out Heraklion's old town where you can see the Venetian lion fountain and the loggia building (now serves as Town Hall), plus there's time to explore the old harbour area on your own. If you're interested, there's an optional guided tour of the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion available. Dinner happens back at your hotel.

Have breakfast at your hotel, then board a modern air-conditioned coach for the shared transfer to Heraklion Airport so you can head home.
