The full itinerary: Day 1: Embark on your journey to Delphi, traveling through Thebes, Levadia, and the charming village of Arachova, nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Upon arrival in Delphi, explore the renowned Archaeological Site. Following your visit, continue your trip to Kalambaka, passing through the scenic villages and towns of Central Greece. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Kalambaka. Day 2: Begin your day with a visit to Meteora, where you'll be captivated by the stunning landscape and timeless monasteries perched atop towering rocks. These monasteries house invaluable historical and religious artifacts. On your way back to Athens, travel via Trikala, Lamia, and make a brief stop at Thermopylae to view the Leonidas Monument. Arrive back in Athens around 7:00 PM.

We thought when we booked the tour that we would be with a group from day one to the end. It was a little dissappointing to find out the tour was contracted out in 3 different tours and that we were by ourselves for the majority of it as part of the fun is socialising. The 3 day cruise of the greek islands was not great. Very little time was given at the islands and with the amount of time it took to get off the boat at tenders we had no time to explore the islands and enjoy it at all. We literally had enough time for a drink and then get back on the boat. The Turkey part of the tour was good however.... The accomodation at cappadocia was very dissappointing. We are annoyed we upgraded to this, the staff were rude and unhelpful, in addition we had drinks at the rooftop bar the first night and in the restaurant, we had the exact same drinks the second night and were charged almost double the price of the first night. In addition we were charged 650 turkish lira for a bottle of water which is $20 Australian dollars. Absolutely ridiculous. The rest of the hotels were ok but not great. no blanket and only a sheet that didnt fit the bed at most of the hotels. The guide and driver were ok for both the turkey tour Ankara to Istanbul and then the seperate tour of Istanbul. We were extremely impressed with the transfer from hotel to airport, the guy stayed with us to security and helped us with check in. That was the perfect way to end the tour. I think the tour could have done without the rug store, leather store and jewlerry store, we were not interested and it made the days longer. We also could have done without the virgin mary house.Show more

I was very pleased overall with Tourradar. I usually personally plan all aspects of our vacations. It was so well planned, each person was so nice, kind, and helpful in many ways!! A few gave me their phone number if I had any questions. The hotels, especially on the islands, were great!! I appreciated that we were always at the same hotel in Athens, 3 different times. That's was helpful as well. The tour guides were very knowledgeable. Not having to worry about setting up transfers from one place to the next, setting up tours and guides. It was truly a wonderful experience!! My children and I thoroughly enjoyed our amazing time in Greece. I would definitely use Tourradar again and recommend them!! What a lovely first experience with a tour company!!Show more
