Itinerary
- Day 1
Copenhagen
You'll land in Copenhagen and get a private transfer to your hotel in the city centre. From there, the day is yours to explore at your own pace. Head out to Strøget, the main shopping street, where there's plenty of shops, bars, and cafes to check out. Just walk around and get a feel for this royal capital.

- Days 2 - 3
Copenhagen
Grab breakfast at your hotel first, then spend the day exploring Copenhagen however you like. The main activity is a 1-hour canal tour starting from either Nyhavn or Gammel Strand. You'll see churches, castles, historical buildings, and famous spots like the Little Mermaid and the Royal Palace Amalienborg. After that, stroll around Nyhavn, the historic port with all its cafes and restaurants. If you're interested, renting a bike is a great way to experience the city like locals do, since cycling has been part of Copenhagen life since the 1880s.

- Day 4
Copenhagen to Odense
You'll grab breakfast before heading to the train station for a westbound trip to Fyn Island. The journey takes about an hour and a half to reach Odense. From there, your afternoon and evening are free. Wander through this historical city where writer H.C. Andersen was born and lived. You might visit his museum or childhood home, or simply explore the charming neighbourhood on your own and see what you come across.

- Days 5 - 6
Odense to Aarhus
After eating breakfast, you'll catch a train heading to Aarhus on Denmark's mainland, which takes roughly an hour and a half. Once you arrive in this young, dynamic city, Denmark's second-largest, there's plenty to see. The ARoS art museum has remarkable architecture and impressive collections. Walk through the vibrant city centre with its boutiques, cafes and galleries. The cathedral here is the longest and tallest in Denmark, so it's worth a look. Den Gamle By, an open-air museum, shows you what everyday life looked like in Denmark centuries ago.

- Day 7
Aarhus to Copenhagen
Have breakfast at your hotel and finish up any exploring in Aarhus during the morning. In the afternoon, catch a scheduled bus to the ferry terminal and sail back to Sjælland Island, which takes just over an hour. From there, the bus drives you back to Copenhagen, around 3.5 hours total with the ferry included. By evening, you'll have time to check out Tivoli Garden or wander the cobbled streets in the city centre. Climbing the Round Tower gives you fantastic views over Copenhagen.
