Itinerary
- Day 1
Edinburgh to Inverness
You'll start in Edinburgh and head through the Scottish Highlands on a scenic drive that takes in some serious historical ground. The route passes Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, then you reach Doune Castle, which served as Castle Leoch in the series. From there, you'll drive through Trossachs National Park and Glencoe, stopping in Fort William before continuing to Glenfinnan where Bonnie Prince Charlie launched the 1745 Jacobite Rising. By evening, you'll arrive at Loch Ness and Inverness, the Highland capital, where you'll wrap up the day.

- Day 2
Inverness
Your day focuses on the Fraser clan territory and the natural beauty surrounding it. You'll visit Clan Fraser lands and see the tomb of Lord Lovat, then head into Glen Affric with its lochs, mountains, and pine forests. Next comes Corrimory Chambered Cairn, a 4,000-year-old burial site that's worth seeing. After that, you'll go to Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness for lunch and check out Urquhart Castle ruins, which date back around 1,000 years. Later, there's a short walk to the suspension bridge at Rogie Falls before heading back to Inverness. To finish the evening, you'll stop at a traditional Scottish pub to relax.

- Day 3
Inverness to Perth
This day covers significant historical and natural sites across central Scotland. You'll start at Culloden Battlefield, the last battle fought on British soil, and spend time at its visitor centre to understand what happened there. Then you move to Clava Cairns, an ancient site with ring cairns and standing stones that may have inspired Craigh na Dun from the series. You'll drive through Cairngorms National Park and stop in Aviemore for lunch. After that, Newtonmore Highland Folk Museum shows off 18th-century crofts and rural life from that era. Before finishing in Perth, you'll visit Killicrankie, a significant Jacobite battle site. Once in Perth, you can walk along the River Tay or sample a whisky before calling it a day.

- Day 4
Perth to Edinburgh
Starting in Falkland, you'll walk through cobbled streets and see filming locations from the 1940s Inverness scenes, including Mrs. Baird's Guesthouse and the Bruce Fountain. Next is Culross, which doubled as Cranesmuir village in the show. You'll stop for lunch in Linlithgow, and from there, you have the option to visit the Palace, which appeared as Wentworth Prison. Later, you'll see Blackness Castle, which played Fort William in the series, followed by Midhope Castle where Jamie's home Lallybroch was filmed. Your day wraps up at Hopetoun House and Gardens, featuring scenes with the Duke of Sandringham, before heading back to Edinburgh.
