We are planning to book this trip, but then saw luggage restrictions to a carry on. My husband and I were planning on each having a checked bag and carry on item from the flight, and are worried that would prevent us from this tour

14kg luggage allowance - This should be one piece of luggage similar to an airline carry-on bag (approximately 55cm x 45cm x 25cm / 22in x 17in x 10in) and a small bag for onboard personal items. Please note: If travelling in April 2026 or later, your luggage allowance increases to 20kg - dimensions remain unchanged. We understand if travelling on our longer tours, or if planning to travel across more of Europe after your UK tour, then you may wish to bring more luggage from home, however there is limited space on the minibus. If you do need to travel with more luggage, then we suggest storing your large bag for the duration of your UK tour. There are storage facilities close to each of our departure points, charging around £5 (€5, USD$6, AUD $10, ZAR121) per day for the storage of a large suitcase. Our luggage policy is in place for safety reasons and we maintain the right to refuse travel for passengers who do not have arrangements in place to store excess baggage.

This Outlander tour was wonderful. It was booked with Rabbies which was excellent. The group was a group of 15 people which I liked. The bugs driver/ tour guide Lizzie was fantastic. Super sweet and chock full of stories and knowledge. The itinerary and overall organization was good. I felt we did a lot more Outlander heavy stuff on day 1 and day 4 which I loved. In the town of Falkland, we had dinner and further spend much time exploring there and got tons do some photos but that felt a bit rushed and this town I looked forward to see while area small, I wanted to soak in a bit more. We entered all castles with no issues as 99% of them came pre booked or were free to enter with exception of midhope castle. The accommodations provided were both excellent in my opinion. I was very happy where I stayed and had a full Scottish breakfast at both places. During the tour there were plenty of times bathroom breaks and a lunch break. The tour bus was easy to find in Edinburgh with the instructions provided and we were dropped off same location with ease. I highly recommend.Show more
