The six-day itinerary was eventful but not tiring. We have seen just about all Iceland's fampus landmarks, national parks, scenic spots. We experienced old Icelandic farm life and tasted delicious hot spring-baked rye bread.We were mostly impressed with our tour director/driver Almar. He was knowledgeable, skilled, and friendly. His engaging personality and communication skills enabled a smooth, fun journey. At times when all of us were tired at the end of the day, he lifted the luggage for all of us. We enjoyed the tour and those we met on the tour.Show more

The first 6 days of the tour were excellent. We visited all the main tourist spots on our journey around Iceland. Stops were varied, beautiful, interesting. Our guide/driver, Helga, was wonderful. I really enjoyed all her sharing of history, lore, and life, and her kindness and steady smile. Staying on for the 7th day was OK, but changing group members and drivers was not that enjoyable. Day 7 guide/driver was of course nice, but she drove way too fast and this was not comfortable. Likely not her fault, as I'm sure she had to keep to a schedule.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Arctic Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Arctic Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
