Porto
You'll arrive at Porto airport and head to your hotel in the historic city centre. The medieval neighbourhoods here are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so there's a lot to take in. Plan to walk through the Ribeira area with its narrow streets and riverside views, then check out the Port wine cellars where you can learn about how the wine gets produced and aged. Ria de Aveiro

By the end of the day, you reach Figueira da Foz where a long sandy beach stretches out for swimming or just relaxing after cycling.
