  Definitely need to improve the meals! More variety is needed; too much fish. Breakfast service needs more help. Coffee needs to begin sooner than 7:00am! Ran out of syrup. The first Captain's dinner needs to be scheduled on a night when the ship is definitely in port on time. The ship was almost 1-hour late docking and the steaks were more than well done (nor the cooks fault!) A cocktail hour with snacks would have been nice the last night on board before dinner. Dinners out were fantastic! Better communication from tour guide is needed. We had no idea why the ship was delayed arriving to port the one night! Several times texted the guide with no answer.Show more

  I am the travel agent group leader.All 18 of us had a good time. The hotel and land arrangements were excellent. I love Collette However, The ship “Elixir”, left a lot to be desired. Mainly, the food was not up to par. Cold, not much variety, beef was tough, salad was just lettuce one evening, etc. Way too much fish. The cruise was not up to Collette standard. Our rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis. Captain Dua, and our tour guide, Jelena, lacked communication to all of us, when we were on board. The one night we were left waiting at the Hvar pier for an extra 1 1/2 hours to be picked up. No one let us know what was going on, so we stood there waiting. So I give mixed reviews on this tour, because of the cruise experience. I hope you will consider another company to use for the future.Show more

  We took the 2 day pre tour extension tat allowed more time to sightsee in Dubrovnik. We could have stayed a couple of more days in Dubrovnik and not seen everything we wanted to see. Then joined the rest of the group on the ship intrepid for the islands tour. The time with the tour manager Ivan and time on the boat were most memorable. The crew was wonderful, especially Jela and Anja, and the food that Marin and Ana prepared was delicious. The captain, Bruno, even gave us a tour of the bridge and told us how he came to be a captain. The daily excursions ashore were very good but at times a little difficult for us as the weather was very hot and we are both in our eighties. We really enjoyed our tour managers talk onboard about the history of Croatia. I would recommend this tour for anyone that had any interest in Croatia. Quarters on the ship were tight but thats to be expected on a small (140 foot) ship.Show more
