  I honestly didn't expect to see so much of Egypt in only five days. The pyramids were obviously the biggest highlight for me, but the older parts of Cairo were just as fascinating. Walking through Old Cairo and seeing the churches, synagogue, mosques, and Khan El Khalili made the trip feel much more meaningful. Alexandria was another pleasant surprise, especially the catacombs and Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Having a private tour and guide made everything much easier because we didn't have to worry about transportation or figuring out where to go. The hotel was comfortable, and overall the trip felt much more special than a standard sightseeing vacation.Show more

  What I loved most was the variety. One day we were standing in front of the Great Pyramids, and another day we were exploring Alexandria and its ancient sites. The Grand Egyptian Museum was particularly impressive, and having a guide explain the history made the visit much more interesting. I also enjoyed the slower moments, like exploring Khan El Khalili and experiencing the atmosphere of Old Cairo. The Nile dinner cruise was a great way to spend an evening after sightseeing. Everything felt well coordinated, and having our own private tour meant we could enjoy the experience without being part of a large group.Show more

  The moment I saw the pyramids from up close, I knew this trip was going to be special. Pictures really don't prepare you for how enormous they are. Our guide added a lot to the experience by explaining the history and pointing out details we probably would have missed on our own. I was also impressed by the Grand Egyptian Museum and enjoyed exploring the different historical areas of Cairo. Alexandria gave us something completely different, with the catacombs, Pompey's Pillar, and library. The whole experience felt comfortable and organized, and the 8 day length was perfect for getting a taste of Egypt without taking a very long vacation.Show more

  After looking at several Egypt tours, we chose this one because it combined Cairo and Alexandria without requiring a long vacation. I think that was the right decision. We managed to visit the major highlights while still having time to enjoy the atmosphere of the cities. The pyramids and Sphinx were incredible, and the Grand Egyptian Museum was another unforgettable stop. Alexandria added something different and was definitely worth including. I also liked the Old Cairo walking tour and the visit to Khan El Khalili because they felt more connected to everyday culture. Everything was organized smoothly, and the experience felt comfortable from beginning to end.Show more

  There were so many moments during this trip when I stopped and thought, “I'm actually in Egypt.” Standing near the pyramids was one of those moments, but walking through the historic streets of Cairo created the same feeling in a different way. Our guide helped us understand the importance of each place rather than rushing through them. The day in Alexandria was fascinating, especially the ancient catacombs and Pompey's Pillar. In the evening, the Nile dinner cruise was a fun change of pace with dinner and entertainment. Overall, I really liked the combination of famous landmarks, history, local atmosphere, and comfortable travel arrangements.Show more

  I was most impressed by how much historical variety is included in such a short trip. We started with ancient Egypt at Giza, then explored the museum, traveled to Alexandria, and later discovered the Christian, Jewish, and Islamic heritage of Cairo. Every day felt different. The Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Citadel, and mosques were particularly interesting because they showed another side of Egyptian history that I hadn't expected to experience. Khan El Khalili was also fun to walk through. Everything was handled professionally, and the private touring made the whole experience feel much more comfortable than traveling with a large group.Show more

  If you enjoy history, this trip is hard to beat for a 5 day vacation. I could have spent much longer in the Grand Egyptian Museum, and seeing the pyramids in person was something I'll never forget. What surprised me was how much I enjoyed Alexandria. The catacombs and Pompey's Pillar were fascinating, and the city had a completely different atmosphere from Cairo. We also had a great time exploring Old Cairo and the traditional market. Our guide was patient and informative throughout the trip. Even though the itinerary covers a lot, everything felt purposeful, and we never wondered what we were doing next.Show more

  Honestly, the organization was one of my favorite parts of the experience. We could concentrate on enjoying Egypt instead of constantly checking maps, arranging cars, or worrying about tickets. The sightseeing itself was amazing, starting with the pyramids and Sphinx and continuing through the Grand Egyptian Museum and Alexandria. I particularly enjoyed the final full day in Cairo because we explored so many historic places in one area. The Nile cruise was another memorable evening and a nice break from visiting monuments. The hotel accommodation was comfortable as well. For a first visit to Egypt, I think this was a very convenient choice.Show more

There are so many famous sites and so much history that I think we would have missed a lot without a guide. The pyramids and Sphinx were unforgettable, but I was equally fascinated by Old Cairo and Alexandria. The Grand Egyptian Museum was another place I could have spent hours exploring. I enjoyed the Nile dinner cruise too, especially after a full day of sightseeing. The five-day schedule gave us a great introduction without requiring a long vacation, and the private format made everything feel easy and personal.Show more

  Traveling to Egypt had been on our list for a long time, and I'm glad we chose an organized private experience for our first visit. There is simply so much history that it helped having someone guide us through it. The pyramids were breathtaking, and the Grand Egyptian Museum was another major highlight. Alexandria gave us a nice change of scenery, while the historic Cairo tour showed us a side of the city beyond the usual tourist attractions. The evening cruise was also a lot of fun. We came home with hundreds of photos and a much better understanding of Egyptian history and culture.Show more
