You'll land at Rome International Airport and head to your hotel via transfer. From there, you can either settle in and relax, or if you're not too tired from travel, start wandering around Rome on your own. It's up to you how you want to spend the rest of the day.

- Day 2
Rome
Today you have the freedom to explore Rome at your own pace. Head to the Colosseum and Roman Forum to see where ancient Rome actually happened, then walk over to the Pantheon. Don't miss Trevi Fountain, and when you're ready, make your way to Vatican City. Spend some time in neighborhoods like Trastevere wandering through smaller streets, and grab lunch or dinner at a local spot for real Italian food along the way.

Rome to Florence
After breakfast, you'll check out of your Rome hotel and head to the train station. The train ride to Florence takes a few hours, so settle in and enjoy watching the Italian countryside go by. Once you arrive, a transfer will take you to your Florence hotel where you can drop your bags and get oriented to the city.

Florence
You've got another day to explore on your own, this time in Florence. Start at the Uffizi Gallery or head straight to the Galleria dell'Accademia to see Michelangelo's David. Walk across Ponte Vecchio with its shops and views, stop by Florence Cathedral, and wander through Piazza della Signoria and Boboli Gardens. There's plenty to see here, so pace yourself and pick what interests you most.

Florence to Venice
After breakfast, check out and head back to the train station for your journey to Venice. The train will take you through more beautiful Italian landscape before arriving in Venice, where a transfer will take you through the city to your hotel. This is your chance to settle in and get a feel for navigating the canals and streets.

Venice
Spend the day getting to know Venice on your own terms. Walk through the narrow streets and along the canals, poke around local shops, and take in how different this city is from anywhere else. If you want, arrange a gondola ride to see the city from the water and experience what makes Venice so different from the rest of Italy.

Lake Garda
You'll take a private day trip from Venice to Lake Garda, heading to the town of Sirmione. Once there, walk through the historic center and visit Scaliger Castle right at the entrance to town. Climb up the castle towers for views looking out over the lake and surrounding area. Spend time wandering the narrow streets before your driver takes you back to Venice in the evening.
