  A wonderful, extremely well organised 7 day tour. We felt safe and very well cared for from start to finish. The places visited, tour guides at each location (especially our guide in Agra) and the accommodation (especially in Jaipur - which we would have rated 4 star) were all comfortable. The first hotel in Delhi was the most basic, but still ok. This tour is all inclusive (meals and entrance fees), so we didn't have to worry about where to eat or the cost of entry to attractions. The meals were of a high standard and delicious! But, what made the tour so enjoyable for us was our wonderful, experienced driver, Ratan, who was with us the entire time and who cared for us so well. He was engaging, attentive, friendly yet respectful, enjoyed our jokes and shared so much information with us about local Indian life and his family life too. He was an excellent driver and navigated his way through the incredible indian traffic (we've travelled extensively, but Indian traffic was an eye opener)! He quickly became our friend and we were genuinely pleased to see him each day and sad to say goodbye at the end of our trip. We would highly recommend both Swastik India Journeys and our exceptional driver, Ratan, to anyone thinking of visiting the Golden Triangle of India. This is a 5 Star tour at a very reasonable price for either young or old travellers (we are in our 60's) and to have a driver like Ratan (you can always request him) really makes this tour so much more enjoyable. India is a beautiful country, but noisy, somewhat confronting and a culture shock to many, so feeling safe, cared for and acknowledged by both the tour company and their staff is very important.   I have just done an all inclusive 7 day golden triangle tour as a solo female traveller. I was so impressed with how everything was organised but my driver Mayur made the trip for me. He made me feel so comfortable, kept me informed, I felt totally safe, looked after and he even had snacks waiting every day in his car for me ! Nothing was too much trouble. The tour guides were all amazing but in particular for me was Chandan in Agra who knew all the amazing spots for photos of the Taj Mahal and took numerous photos of me as I was on my own. The hotels were basic but the Harwana Haveli in Jaipur was the homeliest place to stay with a small garden off my room and amazing authentic family recipes cooked fresh. It was a jam packed tour with the right amount of down time. Everything was exactly as stated on the website. Things of note would be tipping, I had not taken this into account and had to google amounts. The designated lunch spots were basic but buffet lunches included. Also the location of hotels are out of tourist areas if that is a consideration and the add ons after your itinerary where they take you to a stop to try and sell you items. I did purchase a few items but feel free to say no aswell. The tour is exactly as stated and highly recommended.Show more
