- Day 1
Glasgow
You'll arrive in Glasgow and head to Greenock to board MS Spitsbergen for your expedition cruise. Before settling in, check out the city's Art Nouveau architecture and cultural spots around town. Once on board, you'll meet the expedition team and have dinner as the ship departs into the evening.

Landmarks Greenock - Day 2
Isle of Arran
The ship reaches the Isle of Arran, where wildlife spotting starts right away with hikes up to Goat Fell for sweeping views. You can walk through Brodick Castle's woodlands and gardens, then visit the Machrie Moor Stone Circle. Later, tour the Isle of Arran Distillery to sample their local malt whisky and learn how they make it.

- Day 3
Outer Hebrides
You'll explore the remote southern Outer Hebrides, landing on Vatersay's white sand beaches where the Hebridean Way begins. After that, small expedition boats take you to Mingulay (weather dependent) to see massive bird colonies on the Carnan Cliffs, including puffins, guillemots, and fulmars nesting in huge numbers.

Isle of Mull
Tobermory on the Isle of Mull comes into view with its brightly coloured Georgian houses lining the fishing port. You'll visit the Mull Museum, try local whisky, and walk around Aros Park by the loch. The area offers exceptional birding, and you might see otters, dolphins, or porpoises in the Loch Sunart Marine Protected Area.

Sailing into Loch Linnhe brings you to Fort William, known locally as Britain's Outdoor Capital. Explore the Highland landscape, visit the town's whisky distillery, and take a scenic walk at Glen Nevis. You can also learn about the dramatic history and glacial geology of Glen Coe National Scenic Area nearby.

Islay
Islay comes into focus, and you'll see why locals call it the Queen of the Hebrides with its rugged uplands and world-famous peaty single malts. Head to Port Ellen to visit three of the island's nine distilleries, including Laphroaig and Ardbeg. The beaches and waters offer chances to spot over 200 bird species, dolphins, and basking sharks.
