This tour is available on Sundays from November to April and on Fridays and Sundays, from May to October. 26 is the last sunday of April. Yes Colosseum is not included. Departures between November 5 and April will not include the visit of Capri, you will have free time in Sorrento with the possibility of purchasing a visit to the island, if weather conditions allow it. Consider that because of technical issues some tours will begin travelling to the south first. Always will start and finish in Rome.

  The hotel names will be assigned one week prior to the arrival date. Meals include daily breakfast at the hotel only. This is a self-guided tour; a tour guide will be provided only during the guided tours listed in your itinerary. Hotel pick-up and drop-off are not included. All tours will start from a designated meeting point.

  On day 1: Rome: after gelato by the Spanish Steps they make their way back to the hotel on their own? Day 3: Florence: is the panoramic tour is guided or on their own? Piazza de la Signoria, do they walk there themselves or does the guide take them? Next, is transportation to Pisa and back provided? Day 4: Is transportation provided to Bologna? Day 5: Venice: It sounds like there is a city tour provided- am I reading that correctly? Day 6: At the end of the day in Montepulciano is transportation back to Rome provided? Day 8: Naples: is the panoramic tour a guided tour then in Naples? When they make their way down to the port of Mergellina to the Castel dell'Ovo and Santa Lucia is that on their own? The dinner at the end of the day is that reserved by you at the hotel? Day 9: Sorrento: Do they make their own way to the port of Sorrento? Is this typically far from the hotel?

  On day 1: Rome: There is no gelato by the Spanish Steps on day 1. Day 3: Florence: Panoramic tour in Florence is fully guided. Afternoon trip to Pisa is not included (optional) but it includes transportation. Day 4: Transportation to Bologna is included. Day 5: Panoramic city tour of Venice is included. Day 6: Transportation back to Rome is included. Day 8: Naples: Panoramic guided tour of Naples included, excluding the port of Mergellina, Castel dell'Ovo and Santa Lucia. These three places can be visited on their own if there is enough time. Dinner is included in the cost of the package. Day 9: Sorrento: Transportation to the port of Sorrento is included if the hotel is far. If it's close, it can be walking.
