Mexico City
You'll arrive in Mexico City and get settled at your hotel. Start off by grabbing some street tacos and catching live mariachi music to get a feel for the local vibe. After that, head over to Zocalo, the historic center of the city, and wander around the area. Later in the evening, go out for dinner and try more tacos paired with beer or mezcal.

- Day 2
Mexico City
Your English-speaking guide meets you for a walking tour of Mexico City's Historic Center, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll spend about 4 hours exploring the streets of the ancient Aztec capital and learning how Mexican gastronomy earned recognition as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. After the tour wraps up, head back to your hotel to rest.

- Day 3
Mexico City
Early pickup takes you to explore the southern parts of Mexico City. Start with a traditional trajinera boat ride through Xochimilco's canals, where you'll see floating gardens and learn about ajolotes. From there, you'll head to Coyoacán, a bohemian neighborhood where you can walk cobblestone streets and check out colonial architecture, churches, and squares. Grab churros and ice cream for a snack, then visit Casa Azul to see Frida Kahlo's paintings, photographs, and personal items, plus her studio and garden.

- Day 4
Teotihuacan
Private transportation picks you up early for a roughly 6-hour experience at Teotihuacan, one of Mexico's most important archaeological sites. Your guide leads you down Calzada de los Muertos and through the Temple of the Feathered Serpent, Pyramid of the Sun, and Pyramid of the Moon. You'll bike about 10 km on the Route of Murals to an ancient natural observatory with great views. Then stop at a local workshop to taste products made from Tuna, Nopal, and Xoconostle while learning about obsidian crafts. Have lunch before returning to the city.
