Amsterdam
Start your morning with your guide on a walking tour through Amsterdam's center, hitting the main attractions like Anne Frank House, Dam Square, and the Royal Palace with its National Monument. After that you'll head to the Floating Flower Market to browse through the blooms and local goods. By midday grab lunch somewhere in the area, then board a one-hour canal cruise that takes you past the city's most famous landmarks and bridges. You'll return to your hotel by late afternoon, giving you time to rest before dinner.

- Day 3
Zaanse Schans - Edam - Volendam - Marken
Early morning departure from Amsterdam heading to Zaanse Schans to photograph the working Dutch windmills, so bring your camera. From there drive through the quiet Waterland region toward Edam, where you'll walk the historic streets and check out the former Cheese Market square. A local cheese producer will show how Gouda and Edam are made, and then you'll tour a clogs factory to see traditional wooden shoe crafting. The afternoon takes you to Marken to stroll past the fishermen's houses, the harbor, and a protestant church before heading back to Amsterdam by evening.

Amsterdam
Get to the Van Gogh Museum early to avoid long lines and work through 200 masterpieces including Sunflowers and The Potato Eaters at a good pace. Later in the morning head directly to the Rijksmuseum using your skip-the-line ticket to see Dutch art spanning from the Middle Ages through today, including Rembrandt's Night Watch and Vermeer's The Milkmaid. You'll have the afternoon free to relax at a café, walk the neighborhoods, or go back to either museum if something caught your eye.
