We're sorry the trip didn't meet your expectations, but we'd like to respectfully address a few points for the benefit of future travellers reading this review. Our packages are self-guided by design — this is clearly stated throughout our website, in the itinerary documents, and in pre-departure communications. Guided tours are a completely different product, and one we'd happily have helped arrange had it been requested at the time of booking. Regarding age suitability — we don't gatekeep our trips by age, and we'd consider it inappropriate to do so. Our travellers range from 18 to 80+, and many in your age bracket complete this exact itinerary every year without issue. Suggesting a trip is "not for seniors" based on one experience does a disservice to the many older travellers who thrive on independent rail travel. On the hotels: every single hotel on your itinerary is located within 12-minute of the station exit — we select them specifically for that reason. Luggage volume, however, is a personal choice we can't control. Seasoned rail travellers will always tell you: pack light, pack smart. We wish you happy travels in future — ideally with a smaller suitcase.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Interrailing Packages. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Interrailing Packages will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
