- Day 1
Santiago
Start your Santiago experience with a driver taking you through the city's main attractions. You'll see La Moneda, the Presidential residence, then walk through Plaza de Armas where you can catch some live music and grab street food. After that, head to Concha y Toro Vineyard in Maipo Valley. The tour includes walking the gardens and mansion, descending into the cellars for wine tasting, and getting those panoramic views of the valley stretched out below you.

Maipo Valley
Transfer to your Mountain Lodge in Maipo Valley where you'll stay surrounded by the landscape. Pick whatever activities call to you - swim in the pool, go horseback riding, hike to waterfalls, try rafting or kayaking, zip-line through the trees, do yoga, or head out for an astronomical tour at night. The food here is good, and there's plenty of adventure to fill your time.

- Day 3
Maipo Valley
Today's all about relaxing at the lodge with the mountains and rivers as your backdrop. Spend time swimming in the pool overlooking Maipo River, take walks along the riverbank, and learn about the local culture from your hosts. The kitchen prepares regional dishes for your meals, so you'll get a real taste of what people eat in this part of Chile.

Santiago to San Pedro de Atacama
Fly from Santiago to Calama on a local flight, then take a shuttle to your San Pedro de Atacama hotel. By evening, you're heading out for a Salt Mountain Range night trek that'll take about 2 to 3 hours through the desert. The sky here is exceptional for stargazing, so after the trek you'll rest and look up at one of the clearest night skies you'll find anywhere.

San Pedro de Atacama
Before sunrise, head to the launch site for a hot air balloon ride lasting roughly an hour. You'll see volcanoes and the Salt Mountain Range spread beneath you, and the pilot will brief you on what to expect before takeoff. Later in the afternoon, get into El Valle de la Luna where massive salt and clay formations change color as the sun moves across the sky.

San Pedro de Atacama
Travel to Puritama Hot Springs tucked in a canyon where you'll find 8 thermal pools ranging from 82-88°F, loaded with minerals and surrounded by fox tails and canyon walls. After soaking and having lunch, jump into a 4x4 for some sandboarding in the Atacama Desert. Start on a 40-meter practice dune to get the feel, then you can try the 200-meter descent if you're feeling it.

San Pedro de Atacama
Climb into a buggy with your guide and four other people to cross rivers and climb hills through the Salt Mountain Range, plenty of stops for photos. Late in the day, head to the 7 Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache and swim in the first and last lagoons where the salt concentration lets you float effortlessly. Then it's back to San Pedro de Atacama for the night.

San Pedro de Atacama to Valparaiso
Private transfer takes you to Calama Airport for the flight back to Santiago, then you'll drive about an hour to Casablanca Valley. A typical Chilean 3-course lunch is included, and if you want, you can hike or bike through the vines before driving to Valparaiso for the evening.

Valparaiso
Start your day at Mercado Cardonal, walking through stalls of national and international products to see what's available. Then head to a kitchen in Cerro Mariposa near Museo a Cielo Abierto for a hands-on culinary class where you'll learn Chilean cooking. You'll prepare multiple courses including pebre and empanadas, try a Pisco Sour cocktail, and finish with dessert.

Valparaiso to Puerto Varas
Tour Valparaiso's main spots including Plaza Sotomayor, Cerro Alegre, and Caleta Portales. Over in Viña del Mar, check out the flower clock and Muelle Vergara. Walk through Cerro Los Placeres and visit La Sebastiana, the house where poet Pablo Neruda lived. Street art and street musicians are everywhere, so take time to wander and soak it in. Later, fly from Santiago to Puerto Varas where your driver will meet you.

Puerto Varas to Sol Hot Springs
Drive from Puerto Varas toward the Reloncavi Estuary, passing through native forest near Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. Stop in Cochamo, a typical Southern Chilean town in the Valdivian rainforest, then continue to Puelo. End your day at Sol Hot Springs where you can relax in 10 thermal stone pools with temperatures between 36-45°C, connected by 300 meters of walkways.

Puerto Varas
Head to Saltos del Petrohue where you'll take a short forest trek lasting about 30 minutes with chances to see Osorno Volcano and the turquoise Petrohué River. The trail ends at Petrohué Port, great for photos. From there, drive around Llanquihue Lake, stopping in Puerto Octay and Frutillar for walks and photos, grab lunch somewhere along the way, then return to Puerto Varas.

Spend this day on your own exploring Puerto Varas. The town sits on Llanquihue Lake where you can swim in the calm water or just relax by the shore. Try the local food that blends German and Chilean traditions, dishes like crudo with lemon juice are popular here. Find a café by the lake for coffee and settle in to enjoy the peaceful vibe of this Southern Chilean town.

Landmarks Llanquihue Lake - Day 14
Puerto Octay - Llanquihue
Begin in Llanquihue, known for its cold meat factory and as where the Maullín River starts. Follow the Camino del Lago toward Frutillar, learning about German settlers who shaped the area. You'll see historic houses with volcanoes behind them and stop at Teatro del Lago. Continue to Puerto Octay, the region's first agricultural export port, exploring its old streets and main square. After that, transfer to PMC Airport for your flight back to Santiago.
