Yes, we operate throughout November and it is one of the best months of the year in Mauritania. As you are travelling on your own, you have two options. 1. Private tour. The 8-day Lifetime Adventure exactly as listed, run privately for you alone, with your own 4x4, driver, guide and chef, on any start date you choose in November. The rate listen need to have a minimum of 2 travelers if you want a solo rate I'll be happy to share it! 2. Small garateed group departure, 10 to 17 November and November 21 to 28, The same 8 day route and the same inclusions, sharing the trip with a small group of other travellers. For a solo traveller this is the better value of the two. Either option is fully inclusive from the moment you land: airport pickup, hotel nights in Nouakchott at the start and end, all accommodation and desert camping, all meals prepared by our own chef, the Iron Ore Train ride, entrance fees, and an English-speaking guide with you the whole way. Your international flights and the visa are the only things not covered.

Baba and his team of experienced, smart and humble guides and drivers did everything to make the 8 days a trip to remember forever. We came as clients and left as friends after a week in the most beautiful places you can imagine. Mauritania has so much more to offer than the iron ore train (I mean the ride was awesome 🤙🏽🤙🏽) and I can only recommend going there with Baba, Adnan, Momo and the other guys - they take care of everything. 💯 🔝 ❤️ Take the chance now as tourism is almost not existing in Mauritania (we met maybe 10-12 other tourists in total) One last thing: do not let you fool by travel warnings, they are ridiculous - I never had not felt safe (and I did long walks either in crowded places in the cities and in rural areas..)Show more

  The price for that group tour is $1,575 per person sharing a twin room and tent, or $1,900 if you prefer a private room and your own tent throughout the tour.
  
  Included: airport pickup and drop-off, hotel nights in Nouakchott at the start and end, all other accommodation and desert camping, all meals prepared by our own chef, the Iron Ore Train ride, all entrance fees, and an English-speaking guide with you the whole way.
  Your international flights and the visa are the only things not covered.
  
  As a solo traveller you will be in good company. These departures are small and the group eats together, camps together and rides the train together, so nobody is on their own out there.
