Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi and get a car transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is open, so you can rest up after your flight or take a walk around and get a feel for the city.

Hanoi
After breakfast, your coach picks you up at 8:00 am to see Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, and his home, then the Temple of Literature where there's a traditional music performance. Lunch is authentic Hanoi pho at a local spot. In the afternoon, you can visit a museum or temple if you want, then walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter for shopping and street food. There's an optional water puppet show to end the evening.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
After breakfast, pickup happens around 9:00 am for a 3.5-hour drive by minivan to Halong City, with countryside and rice paddies passing by. You'll board a dragon junk to explore this UNESCO site, have fresh seafood lunch on the boat, and visit Surprising Cave. Swimming in emerald waters happens before you anchor for the night. Later you can relax on the skybar, try squid fishing, or sleep under the stars.

- Day 4
Halong Bay to Hanoi
Early morning brings sunrise and Tai Chi on deck with the crew, followed by breakfast. During the day you'll cruise through thousands of islands with stops at a floating fishing village to learn how local fishermen live. Lunch happens on board while heading back to Halong City, then a transfer takes you to Hanoi for hotel check-in and overnight.

- Day 5
Hanoi to Sapa
Pickup at 6:30 am from your Old Quarter hotel gets you to the bus station by 7:00 am. The big bus heads toward Sapa on the Noi Bai-Lao Cai highway, stopping for 30 minutes to see mountain views and terraced fields. You arrive at Sapa at 12:30 pm, meet your guide, and have lunch. At 2:30 pm, a 3.5 km trek to Cat Cat village takes about 2 hours, where you'll see a Black H'mong family, a waterfall, and an old French power station. Dinner at the hotel follows.

Sapa to Hanoi
Breakfast comes at 7:00 am, then at 9:30 am you start trekking from Sapa through rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to Lao Chai village with views of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. Picnic lunch happens at 12:30 pm, then you head to Ta Van village at 1:30 pm to see the Dzay ethnic people. A bus pickup at 2:30 pm takes you back to Sapa after about 12 km and 4.5 hours of trekking. The afternoon is free for shopping, then you depart at 4:00 pm for Hanoi, arriving at 9:30 pm.

Hanoi to Danang to Hoi An
You'll fly to Danang on Vietnam's central coast. The day includes the Cham Museum with its sandstone carvings, then Cua Dai Beach and Marble Mountain. Later you head to Hoi An, Vietnam's largest historic port from the 17th to 19th centuries. The old town keeps its original Chinese temples and merchant homes. You stay overnight in Hoi An.

At 8:00 am you depart for My Son, a UNESCO site 50 km southwest with red brick Cham towers and sanctuaries from the 7th to 13th centuries, ranking among Southeast Asia's greatest archaeological places. After exploring, you return to Hoi An around 1:00 pm for lunch on your own, then the afternoon is free for shopping. Overnight stays in Hoi An.

The Sa Huynh Museum near the Japanese Covered Bridge has exhibits from Hoi An's earliest days. Late afternoon brings a boat trip on the Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village to watch woodworkers and shipbuilding families, then you head to Cua Dai Beach for the evening. Overnight in Hoi An.

You'll explore this famous site with over 200 km of tunnels, seeing trap doors, living quarters, storage, weapon factories, hospitals, and command centers. Simple local food and stories about wartime ingenuity come with the experience. Return to Saigon for overnight.

You'll visit one or two islands known for handcrafts, coconut candy, and bee farms, then explore Vinh Trang Pagoda, the delta's oldest, during a river boat trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City for hotel check-in and overnight.
