Asked on October 24th, 2025Does this trip take into consideration and accommodate someone whose mobility is aided with a cane when walking? Also can I purchase travel insurance for "cancellation for Any reason"? What hotels will we be staying at? Are all transfers and Air included or do they need to be booked separately?
WingbuddyOperator•Written October 2025This package is rated 2 out of 5 in regards to physical activity. It is a semi organized package therefore, you will have plenty of time at leisure and go at your own pace. For the excursions included, there is a few kms of walking a day with breaks in between however, you can also opt out if you feel it is too much. We do highly suggest to get travel insurance, therefore, you can purchase this separately through a 3rd party if you wish. The hotel included in this package is at the Sao Miguel Park 4* hotel (or similar) in a standard room. All the transfer are included within the package however, we do not include the international flights. You would have to purchase these separately on your own.

Asked on September 4th, 2024I want to visit a few island on the Azores for 8 to 10 days. That can be anytime after may 13 , 2025 or after June 12, 2025. Also, I might consider a small rental in an interesting island for another week.

At the moment, we have uploaded prices until March 2025, we are working on the next dates. Regarding the itinerary, the tour stays in Ponta Delgada on Sao Miguel for 7 nights since it is the biggest island of the archipelago. It offers a great variety of scenery as well as a beautiful flora and marine life. You could continue your exploration under your own arrangements and book accommodations on the other islands for an additional 3-4 days to complete your tour of the Azores. We are not able to include rentals or B & B type of accommodations.

We have 5 departures in September: every Friday. Simply select the date you prefer and complete the booking! Regarding the weather, September is one of the best times to visit the Azores as there are less tourists and still a very enjoyable temperature. There could be a few rains but since fall starts by the end of the months but it will not impact your tour.

One question we have: my wife has Celiac disease and want to be assured that the breakfasts at the hotel have gluten free options for her. In addition, the lunch that we have on the trip to Furnas, we would like to ensure that it has some gluten free options as well.
