      Here is the visa process for Chad for German citizens: Our partner on spot provides a letter of invitation (for which we need a passport scanned copy). Then, once received, the customer applies by himself online on the following link: [link]. We need to allow at about 2-3 weeks before the departure date.

    Are there additional expenses not listed on the website? I was charged 200 euro extra on arrival and over 300 euro extra for a single room.

    • For any tour departing before October 12th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 12th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Penguin Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
