Most of the activities are very easy, the only one that is considered difficult for those with mobility issues is Vatnshellir, that is a cave with a long spiral stair. You can make a decision on the spot if you want to join that activity or not.

Can this tour be private for 4 people? Also can hotels be upgraded and what would be the cost.

Yes we offer our tours as private as well. But those request need to go through email, they will calculate an offer for them. For private tours the hotels can be chosen by the travellers.

What time can I check into the hotel?

Standard check-in time is typically at 15:00. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your bags at the hotel.

What happens if the Blue Lagoon is closed?

In case the Blue Lagoon is closed, an alternative like the Sky Lagoon may be offered, but this is not guaranteed.

Can I request an early check-in at the hotel?

Early check-in is subject to availability, and it's advised to book the previous night if you want guaranteed access.

What is the usual duration of daily tours?

Daily tours typically end between 17:00 and 18:00, but this can vary.

Do I need a visa to visit Iceland?

Visa requirements depend on your nationality. It's best to check with your local embassy for accurate information.

What happens if we do not see the northern lights? Is there a high percentage to see them? Can we do another similat trip if we do not see them?

Our tours have so much more on the itinerary, some must see attractions and activities. The longer you stay in Iceland the better the chances are of seeing the Northern Lights. We choose the hotels as remote as possible for this tour, so you are able to see them from the hotel garden if the conditions are right. The weather in Iceland is a big factor if you will see them or not. It is impossible for us to say in advance if you will see them or not. This tour does though have a good success rate of seeing them, around 80%. You can always book another tour with us if you do not see them, though you will need to pay for another tour.

Out your with Simone and GJ Tours in Iceland was fantastic. The hotels and transport were very good and the guide, Simone, was excellent. All communication was timely and the process was easy. We saw the northern lights 5 nights and twice they were dancing. The only downside was the cost of food and drinks in the hotels, but I guess that's Iceland! I would definitely recommend this tour through Tour Radar.Show more

We were very lucky to have had Simone as our guide and driver. She shared with us her knowledge, understanding and passion for this beautiful yet rugged place. Her concern for our safety was very reassuring - and the Sagas were a highlight. The itinerary of Iceland was perfect. Just when you think you have seen what Iceland has to offer the next day blows your mind even more. We were lucky enough to see the Northern lights all but the first night of our trip. GJ tours provided an excellent itinerary and tour director. Simona was not only our tour director but also the driver of our bus which had a small trailer attached for our luggage. She is a resident of Iceland and her love of the culture and landscapes was very evident in all her presentations. Simon a was extremely knowledgeable and competent. Her concern for our safety at all times was very reassuring. IMHO, the hotel Klettur in Reykjavik could be replaced by another one in better repair and with a larger lobby for the huge groups constantly meeting in it to join tours. I would have preferred more detailed information for specifically.where to meet on the first morning and for handlers to get our bags to and from our hotel room doors. Overall, GJ is very organized and took us to some spectacular places.Show more
