Asked on November 23rd, 2024If my flight only arrive kathmandu at 2010 hrs, i will miss the padan square right? What is the recommended time for me to arrive kathmandu?
G AdventuresOperator•Written November 2024We recommend travelers try to arrive morning/afternoon of DAY 1 of the tour (the Welcome Meeting is usually at about 6pm and then I see there is the included activity for the Patan Square). You can also arrive a day earlier and we can confirm a pre night for you! (this is recommended just in case there are flight or weather delays so you have a buffer day).

Asked on May 23rd, 2024getting some conflicting information on whether malaria pills are warranted for Nepal... I will review with my doctor but wondering if you had any insight on what other Travellers have done and needed for this specific tour?
G AdventuresOperator•Written May 2024We recommend referring to your government's travel website for accurate information regarding vaccinations and preventative medications, and/or speaking to a travel health professional. As we are not health professionals ourselves, we encourage you to consult with the experts!

Asked on May 8th, 2024Have a couple of questions about Nepal tour: 1) How much access to credit card places in itinerary? What amount of cash suggested? Is USD used or local currency? 2) Is backpack recommended vs luggage? Any luggage size requirements? 3) Expected additional cost per night for extra nights at beginning/end of tour?
G AdventuresOperator•Written May 2024For this trip, credit cards work in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Avoid relying on cards in Chitwan National Park. Meals can be split between cash and card. Use local currency (Nepal Rupee). Get cash by exchanging USD at airport or using ATMs. Backpacks recommended but suitcases okay if standard airplane check-in size. Pre/post night accommodation in Kathmandu costs $65CAD per night.
