Asked on July 22nd, 2025Are alternative options or alternative transportation possible for the 7km hike to Eagles Nest?
G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025Sadly for the Eagles Nest hike there will not be alternative transport available just purely due to the nature of how the Temple is situated and the hike is first downhill and then from there uphill to the Temple. Normally if you are not able to do the hike itself, you have the option remain back at the vehicle and wait for other travellers to return.

Your arrival transfer has been arranged based on flight information provided to us. A 4:45 pm arrival will be fine. The welcome meeting usually starts between 5pm and 7pm so we can just leave a note that you might be a tad late.

Yes this is covered in the tour cost. For Bhutan, G Adventures will also arrange the visa for you. The cost of the visa is included in the tour price. The Bhutanese visa is issued to your passport on arrival. No passport photos are currently required for this, but it's always good to travel with a couple current photos.

Asked on March 13th, 2023I would like to travel to Bhutan during September or beginning of October. I would like to experience the best places of this Country, with a preference for nature and landscapes. I have basic needs regarding hotels. I know that Thimphu Festival is from September 24 - 26. Apart from that week, I could travel from Saturday to Sunday included or maximum 9 days in total. I need basic accommodation (in case price will be cheaper) and I can consider to share some places, tour and guide.
