  For Australian passport holders, the Niger tourist visa is typically issued prior to travel through an accredited Niger embassy or consulate. The visa issued is valid for airline check-in and immigration on arrival. Once your booking is confirmed, our team will provide you with the official invitation letter, travel confirmation, and supporting documents required for your visa application. In most cases, your application will be submitted to the nearest Niger diplomatic mission handling Australian applications. Depending on the embassy/consulate procedures, your passport may need to be submitted as part of the process. We will guide you step by step based on your location at the time of application. In the event that your visa is refused or not issued in time, we offer a flexible policy. Tour payments are: Transferable to a future departure date minus any non-recoverable costs such as visa processing charges, bank fees, or supplier penalties already incurred. We will always do our best to minimize any unrecoverable expenses and provide documentation of any deducted charges.

  We recommend submitting your visa application at least 60 days prior to your intended travel dates. The embbasy may retain your passport for 14-21 business days. Please note that the Gerewol Festival is typically held between September and October each year. The official dates for the current year have not yet been announced; however, we expect confirmation by March, at which point we will be able to advise the exact festival period. That said, we would be happy to customize a separate itinerary for your travel to Niger in February. Kindly note that for solo travelers, the cost is relatively higher due to mandatory security escorts, which significantly increase operational expenses.

For tours departing after June 13th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Across Africa Tours & Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 100 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
