Can you please advise if it is possible to have a stop in Oita while on the bullet train from Kumamoto to Fukuoka?

The train from Kumamoto to Fukuoka won't stop in Oita, however, Yufuin and Beppu are in Oita prefecture. You will stay two nights in Beppu, if you would like to explore a bit more in Oita city, you can take a train there from Beppu on Day 3 afternoon.
