  As a senior citizen I was unsure of how much I would be able to manage in Oman. Gidoman arranged the perfect tailormade tour and I enjoyed every minute of my short stay in this welcoming, beautiful country. Our driver and guide, Jamal, made our tour extra special, answering our questions, sharing his knowledge and always making me feel comfortable and safe.   Guid Oman and specifically Ilyas stands head and shoulders above any other guide I have ever had in my 40 years global travel. His high level of expertise cannot be overstated. Ilyas fills the tour days and nights with local anecdotal information not written about in books, guides or maps. He weaves historical information into his stories of this fascinating culture and topography. At the same time, he listens keenly to the responses and tailors the activities, timings and trip details according to the needs and preferences of his clients. He showed me hidden gems and shared information that I am sure other guides are not aware of or not inclined to go the extra mile to share. I am so grateful for his outstanding connections, love of seafood, and genuine heartfelt love and pride for his countrymen. I look forward to staying in touch with him and all the other fantastic people I met in Oman. This is a terrific outfit with secured bookings in all accommodations and activities. Excursions (except for the sea) were held on the Toyota 4x4 car, no matter how tired we were for the whole day, getting into a clean car and moving on, we felt at home. None of our requests were ignored, we did not have time to buy local spices, so our guide brought them to the hotel the day before departure and simply presented them. All excursions are full of information about the country and local beauties, the guide brought us to such beautiful viewpoints where we didn’t meet anyone else, I think that no one really takes them there, this is his personal initiative to show everything possible and impossible in such a short time to give the maximum idea of ​​the beauties of Oman. . Impressions go off scale, so if you decide to get to know the country better and want to travel around the country and enjoy the trip, we advise you to use the services of this travel company, you will return home full of the best memories and the greatest satisfaction from the trip.Show more

  We did the 8-day Adventure Tour around Oman, which we really enjoyed. It provided us with a great overview of the country, with a fantastic variety of sights and activities. For us, the tour struck the perfect balance between being active and providing time to relax. Importantly, it allowed us to get under the skin of Oman and get to know its friendly and welcoming people. The hotel accommodation was excellent, with a very high standard of service. Our guide, Ilyaas, was incredible! He let us work to our own timescales and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He always went the extra mile to ensure we were well-fed, comfortable and got to see the real Oman. We were also incredibly well looked after by the other associates of GidOman, who ferried us around (airport and certain tours). They kept us up-to-date and were on hand to assist, day and night. Overall we would highly recommend this tour.Show more
