  Too expensive for a tour that books the hotels and a car rental. We are a family of 3. We could have booked hotels and car rentals ourselves with half the price. The hotels were all far from the old towns and touristic areas and we had to walk 40 mins to get to the old town. There are very limited spaces for car parking so that was not an option. Overall I do not recommend booking a tour for this self guided drive as it did not provide any extra services other than booking for the hotel and car rental. And we could have done that with half the price for our family.Show more

  Dear Sir/Madam, thank you for your wish to make a review about your experience. Unfortunately we are quite sure you reviewed the wrong tour (as the one you selected is mini cruise program along Dalmatian coast) and also suppose you selected wrong agency, as by our bookings lists we didn't have 3persons booking our self drive tours via TourRadar. Hovewer, we do have that kind of tours and must say that when booking via TourRadar local provider, clients do get "only" hotels and car rental, but there is also someone always available for help, there are TourRadar and local agents assisting in creating itinerary, if requested adding insurance, extra services, suggesting clients what to visit if they are not familiar with the region, giving clients emergency phone number for solving on spot issues if something needed and this are all extra services that client can get. Some towns have better parking solutions, and in some it is better to use local city buses to get from hotel to the center, but this is the same no matter in what way you book the program. Car rental gives you opportunity of exploring more, visiting more places on your way or around each city.

  Dear Andrew, thank you for your review that I hope will help other new clients also to understand this "boat name" procedure. On each of our cruise programs under accommodation it is written: Standard Cabin Category = MY "name of potential boat" or similar. This means that you will be boarded on that potential boat or similar boat of the same category. We can't guarantee exact boat name in advance, but only the category of the boat. Exact name of the boat can be given to clients just few days prior to cruise start when all cabin lists are settled. We are glad that despite this misunderstanding of the boat name, you have enjoyed your cruise and that all else was fantastic!

  Dear Claudette, thank you for your review and we are sorry for the disappointment you had with the cruise. Drinks, including water are not part of free services on the boat and that is usual practice on small boat cruises. The boats are specific and due to their construction and size it can unfortunately happen that sometimes, due to weather conditions and air pressure, the unpleasant smells come to bathroom. The solutions are to close the bathroom doors, open cabin doors and refresh the air until the conditions change. Whenever this happens the crew always tries to find solution, another cabin if there is some available without this issue or at least to help with the refreshing of the cabin air. Unfortunately, we don't have a record that you advised the crew about this and we were also not informed about it during your stay to try to find a solution. We hope that, despite those disappointments, you still managed to enjoy your time on this cruise and exploring our coast and islands!

  The overall all trip was great--the staff on the boat (Solaris) was just fabulous. They catered to everything we asked for and gave us tips on what to do/look for while making our stops on land. The beds were not all that comfortable...not sure what to suggest to make that experience better but, being on the water, we got ample sleep. In Mararska, we found a Thai restaurant AND a Thai Massage place which was exactly what we needed--this was probably one of my favorite stops because the town was so lively. There were some stops that we could have skipped (strictly tourist islands with nothing really to do) but the sights and picture worthy sunsets made them worth it. Be sure to bring your own beach towel (they charge an arm and a leg locally) but you can buy floaties and snorkeling equipment at one of the many stops (so that you don't have to waste the space in your suitcase.) Also, bring a small battery-operated fan--we traveled during August and it was HOT HOT HOT. The in-room air conditioner seemed to struggle to keep us cool enough--we would plug in our fans and have them blowing in our face while we slept.Show more

This program includes only short time in Dubrovnik as arrival is in the afternoon and departure in the morning next day as otherwise it would not be possible to visit all other places included in the itinerary. All questions we receive are always answered via TourRadar chat. Unfortunately, I can't find your question regarding the time to walk the Dubrovnik city walls, so I am not sure who didn't provide you clear information. As reviews suite to help also other clients I would like to add that information. The Dubrovnik walls are 1940m long and it takes approximately 1h30 to 2h to do the tour, but it all depends on each person physical conditions and how much time individual would take to stop and enjoy the beautiful views of the town and surrounding area.
