From Bordeaux we picked up our bikes/ e-bikes and by train reached west to ride along the Atlantic coast. Moderate hills and 45 miles for the first day gave us understanding of our group capabilities. The two other days were among coastal beautiful pines with straight roads, later switched to oysters farms and to vineries. One night we stayed at Bordeaux to later reach the central part of the France by train: Dordogne. Here is the historical beauty and some hills come. Each days were very unique to stay in old but modernised buildings, swam in clean river (we crossed it several times), And of course, pedal to reach the next town! At the end of the fifth day we were quite tired, so the relaxing canoe trip for 3 hours was the rewards! A little more ride to Sarlac and once again- the XVI century town and comfortable hotel. French food is above any of our expectation, châteaus, vinery tour, rides by quiet roads through fields and along the river- double and interesting tour. Leaders are helpful and knowledgeable. Friendly chatting and sharing relaxing time during diners.
