Itinerary
- Day 1
Oviedo
You'll arrive in Oviedo on August 22nd and check in from 3pm. Around 5pm head over to the cycle store to get your bike fitted and sorted out properly. After that, join everyone for drinks and dinner in the evening to meet the group.

- Day 2
Oviedo to Cudillero
This first ride takes you out from Oviedo along the Asturian coastline, and it's a challenging one. You'll pass through small hamlets and villages where you can see traditional horreo granaries sitting up on their pillars. The day ends in Cudillero, a nice beachside village where you'll stay the night.

Landmarks Cudillero - Day 3
Cudillero to Gijón Area
Today's much easier with fewer hills and shorter climbs compared to yesterday. You'll have great views of the Bay of Biscay throughout the ride. By the end of the day, treat yourself to some local Asturian cider at a traditional sidreria.

Landmarks Bay of Biscay - Day 4
Gijón Area to Ribadeo
You're riding along the coast to Ribadeo, a lively town with a nice beach. It's a long, steady day in the saddle with ocean views and sea breezes keeping you company. You'll cross the Bridge of the Saints over the River Eo and enter Galicia for the first time.

Ribadeo
Take a break from cycling and explore the surrounding area today. A short train ride or cycle gets you to Praia das Catedrais, which has rock formations with archways jutting out from the coastline. It's the second most visited site in the region and worth checking out.

Ribadeo to Inland Destination
Heading inland now, the scenery changes as you move away from the coast. Terrain gets more demanding with steeper climbs, and this is the toughest day of the whole tour. You'll experience sea, mountains, and forests all in one ride through a sparsely populated area.

Inland Galicia to Sarria
This is the shortest riding day and it passes through peaceful wetlands and charming stone villages. You'll see religious architecture typical of the region throughout. Stop in Vilalba, a 13th-century town, then continue to Sarria for the night.

Sarria to Melide
Start by cycling through Sarria in the morning, then the day becomes undulating with plenty of climbing. Halfway through, you'll join the main 'French Way' pilgrimage route, and you'll feel like a true pilgrim on wheels as more walkers appear around you.

Landmarks French Way (Camino Francés) - Day 9
Melide to Santiago de Compostela
On your final riding day, you'll continue on the pilgrimage route into Santiago de Compostela. More and more pilgrims join you on this undulating journey, and it naturally finishes at the famous cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
