  We had a great trip! Highly recommend it, our tour guide Aziz was great, although we had a packed schedule, he made sure we got to see and experience everything we had planned and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. He accompanied us on the wahdi swims and hikes and we felt very safe with him (it's a safe country). The accommodations, both car and hotels, were very comfortable. We would book again with Gid Oman and hope to have Aziz as a guide for our next trip to Oman.Show more

  The tour was very well organized by GidOman. All the activities were booked as we had requested (we changed the tour slightly with two nights in the desert and two nights in the mountains). GidOman was always easy to reach via WhatsApp and responded quickly to questions and concerns. At the Turtle Reserve, we even got an upgrade to the Turtle Beach Resort instead of Sama Ras Al Jinz. We are very satisfied with GidOman and can recommend them without reservation. Every pick up by GidOman was always on time. My sister and I have celiac disease, which means that we have to eat gluten-free. This condition is not well known in Oman, but together with Aziz (our guide) we found a large selection of gluten-free bread in an organic supermarket in Muscat (Al fair) and GidOman also took care of it. The heart of our trip was our guide Aziz. We always felt very comfortable and safe with him and he really enriched the trip with his pleasant and funny demeanor. He knows the best photo spots and knows exactly when it's best to be at which activity. This allowed us to relax and unwind. Aziz was always on time, always friendly, and always well prepared for the activities (water, flashlight, waterproof cell phone case,...). He answered a lot of questions about Omani culture. Our impression is also that we were accompanied by an Omani, so we were even closer to the Omani culture. We were able to gain a lot of insights into this great country! The car was very well equipped, very comfortable and was up to all requirements from desert to mountains. Thank you very much for this great vacation!Show more

  We were looking for a one-week Oman tour with a good variety of nature and sight seeing. Luckily we found this tour! Since GidOman is a small operator, questions were answered very fast and the program or pick up times were adapted to the flight schedule. We liked this tour very much and felt we got a very good first impression of the must sees in Oman! Our tour guide on the round trip, Ilyas, was always in a good mood and happy to chat till late evenings :) the hotels were really well chosen and we loved the roof top pool in the mysk hotel! Our last day we spent on a boat trip to Dimaniyat islands, were you have almost 100% chance to see turtles! The trip was the perfect end of the tour! Thank you very much, GidOman!Show more
