Itinerary
- Day 1
Sharm El Sheikh to Luxor
Your hotel pickup in Sharm El Sheikh happens in the morning, then you're driven to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Once you land, your guide meets you and takes you straight to Karnak Temples, where you'll walk through one of ancient Egypt's most significant religious complexes that was built to honor god Amon and his family. Around midday you can grab lunch at a local restaurant if you'd like. After that, you head to the Valley of the Kings to see the actual tombs of famous pharaohs like Tutankhamun and Ramesses VI. From there, you'll check out the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and then see the Colossi of Memnon before heading back to the airport. Your evening flight gets you back to Sharm El Sheikh.
