Tour Radar indicated wrong speedboat times from Male to Ghuli Island and changed our reservation from one island to...
Tour Radar indicated wrong speedboat times from Male to Ghuli Island and changed our reservation from one island to another island and a lower priced poor hotel with an obstructed view so not Seaview as promised. Tour Radar did not inform Speedboat company and until we showed Speedboat company our reservation took 3 hours of wasted waiting time in Male. We had to show them hotel reservation and we were diverted to Ghuli island much to our shock.I was also scammed $90 for a Maldives government website for Visa on Arrival but later determined Visa to Maldives is free for Canadian passport holders. Food was good @ changed hotel but limited menu. We were then told by Tour Radar that interisland tour was cancelled costing $125CAD each for which we were given a measly USD$25 Credit. I will never use Tour Radar again and will be writing very bad reviews on TripAdvisor and this website. Suggested you should book elsewhere for any Maldives trips. This is my second bad experience with tour Radar in which they redid our itinerary for another 3 weèk tour of Sri Lanka in which an English guide was submitted BUT he didn't barely understand or speak English and we were cheated out of a safari. Extremely poor company to deal with. Many broken commitments and lies to us for our vacation!!!Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of $50 is required to confirm your booking with Capital Lanka Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 25 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Capital Lanka Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
