  This was my first tour I’ve taken before, so I was unsure of what to expect. My overall take away from this...
  This was my first tour I’ve taken before, so I was unsure of what to expect. My overall take away from this experience is poor. The hotels booked on the tour were well below expectations, being a 2⭐️at best, and that’s being generous. The hotel/guestroom we stayed at the two nights at the end was horrible, and I did not sleep either night. It was loud, with hardwood floors above me made sure I heard everything the people upstairs did, including bathroom and showering. It seriously looked like a room from the pirates of the Caribbean ride! Our guide recommended we eat at the hotel restaurant the last night there, which was a huge mistake. Over an hour and a half for our meals, when half of us ate already others didn’t even get their meals. After waiting that long they were cold. I ended up cancelling mine, as it was well after 9pm, we sat down at 7, and they hadn’t even cooked my pizza 1 1/2 hours later. All I which the guide stayed quiet and said nothing, even though she was sitting at our table!!! No apologies from the hotel or her! There wasn’t much guidance during the driving, and if hadn’t been for one of the passengers telling the guide to maybe talk on the drive, we probably would have sat in silence the entire time. She was very nice, and she did care if people were happy, but everything else was poor. The itinerary stated we would be back in Athens early afternoon on the last day, so people had made arrangements to see sights in Athens that were not covered in the tour, I myself had booked a ferry for that night so I could leave to the islands. Which I ended up having to change my entire last week in Greece, since we weren’t back in Athens until 6pm. Don’t tell your customers early afternoon when it’s evening. But that’s the extent of the communication throughout this tour: poor! The guides on the experiences were all pretty good, so I don’t have much to complain about that, and the driver of the bus was excellent! I cannot say enough praises about him, always helpful and he tried his best to communicate with everyone. He really saved this tour, as it is one of the only positive comment I can make. The planning of the tour was not done well, visiting the Ouzo factory at 10am, then having 1:45 hours of spare time in the town following didn’t make sense to anyone! Who wants to drink that early in the morning? There were experiences the passengers could’ve arranged at some of the stops, but due to the fact we knew nothing about them, we missed out on a lot of fun things, and that to me is unacceptable. The dinner included in our tour, not sure who decided the choices ( rabbit or rooster ) but they should be fired! I paid for that meal and didn’t even attend due to no options given that I can eat. Money wasted… Speaking of money, you guys make a killing off these tours hey?. I took the time to price out everything, and it’s not even close to what we paid. Maybe I wouldn’t mind as much if I could say it was worth it, but it definitely was not. If your company has any customer service at all, you should consider some sort of reimbursement to each person on this tour to make up for their poor experience. There is NO way this was premium anything, and I know every single person on this tour is making the same comments… what a let down to say the least. Being so excited for this trip and being constantly let down… Others were saying that usually the guide sticks around at the end of the tour to say good bye, ours couldn’t wait to leave once we were checked in. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this tour to anyone. False advertising at best! I’ll wait to see how your company handles this before posting this on your reviews.. but 12 people are beyond unhappy and disappointed! The only Positive was getting to meet some wonderful people from around the world. But definitely not an experience I would recommend to anyone. If you’re going to charge people the amount you do, then you should ensure its premium, not subpar! Some of the group has used your company many times, and they even said this was a disappointment. But they also said that your customer service is excellent, I’ll guess I will wait and see! Not the impression I was hoping to leave Greece with, which is sad really!Show more
