- Day 1
Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and meet your local representative for a transfer to your hotel. If your flight gets in early, there's time to check out the Archaeological Museum of Athens or track down some good souvlaki before the 6 pm welcome meeting. After that, you'll join the group for dinner at a local restaurant to get to know everyone.

- Day 2
Athens to Kalambaka
Start with the Acropolis and a local guide who'll walk you through the history of this ancient citadel. You'll head through the Propylaea to see the Parthenon, considered the greatest Doric temple from the ancient world. Lunch includes traditional Greek pies and vegetarian options. In the afternoon, drive north toward Kalambaka and stop at Thermopylae, the site of the famous 480 BC battle that inspired the movie 300.

- Day 3
Meteora
Travel into the hills with a local guide to explore the monasteries of Meteora, ancient structures sitting on towering sandstone cliffs. You'll walk through the ruins of the Pantokrator and Varlaam monasteries and learn about their history going back to the 11th century when hermit monks sought refuge in caves. Back in Kalambaka, you can explore town or relax at the hotel. Later, the group reunites for a sunset view from the hills with a drink included.

- Day 4
Meteora to Nafpaktos
After breakfast, head to Delphi to visit the museum and explore the archaeological complex with a local guide, including the Temple of Apollo where rituals and offerings to the gods happened. The afternoon takes you to a local beekeeping family for an exclusive visit where you'll see the hives, learn how honey gets made, and taste their product. From there, continue to the coastal town of Nafpaktos for the night.

- Day 5
Nafpaktos to Dimitsana
After a relaxed morning, travel to ancient Olympia where temples, public buildings, and the first Olympic Games were held. An expert local guide leads you through the main stadium, gymnasium, wrestling school, priest houses, Temple of Hera, and hippodrome, followed by a museum visit. Later, head to the medieval village of Dimitsana and settle into Mikri Arktos Boutique Hotel, a traditionally decorated stone mansion with great mountain views.

- Day 6
Dimitsana
A local guide takes you through the central Peloponnese and Lousios Valley with an exclusive visit to the working Prodromos Monastery, a wood and clay structure built into a rock face. You'll learn about the monks' daily life and share coffee and Greek delight with them, then see the splendid 14th-century frescoes in the chapel. Next, hike to Ancient Gortys, temple ruins dedicated to Asclepius over two thousand years old on the river banks. Stop at a traditional village restaurant for lunch, then return for a free afternoon.

This morning, visit the Mycenae archaeological site, a UNESCO World Heritage location and one of the most important cities from the Mycenaean civilisation. Drive to the seaside town of Nafplion, the original Greek capital, and explore on your own. Before heading back to Athens, stop to sample ouzo and learn how Greece's national drink is made. You'll arrive in late afternoon and join the group for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
