Watch out -there was a lot of wasted time sitting around waiting for transportation. For example, I asked for a later trip to the bus station because there was a pickup 2 hours before the bus left. I was told the early pick up time was needed. It was a 15 minute ride so I ended up sitting in a bus terminal for 115 minutes. My first day of vacation resulted in leaving my Athens hotel at 6:30 am and arriving at the hotel at 3:00 pm. For a two night stay. Bad trip planning. Ask for a detailed itinerary so you don't have the same thing happen! Also, tourradar does not answer emails- so arrange for phone service. At some locations I was trying to reach them by email because I was not given pick up times for tours and was frustrated trying to figure out what time they were coming. On the plus side- the tours were fantastic. Not always as advertised by tourradar (e.g. a tour of the island ended up being a boat trip, swimming stop not included in the tour) but always fantastic tour operators selected by tourradar. Specifically, Caldera Travel in Santorini was the most organized, helpful, fantastic tour operator I have EVER had. Amazing service and knowledge. Cannot say enough good things about them.Show more

The trip to shipwreck beach and the blue caves was such a delightful experience. Zakinthos island was a surprise, much bigger than Santorini and Paros, and with a dense vegetation. Paros was ideal for a relaxing holiday, lots to see and do or just swim, sunbathe and shop in all the cute shops there. Santorini speaks for itself!! The Greek islands are wonderful.
