The accommodation and food was of excellent standard with all the hospitality staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Our tour guide Heshan was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were thankful to be provided with great person to explore this wonderful country. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and we felt like it was a privilege for him to share his country with us. Thank you Heshan. Our only con would be, as we come from a country (Australia) where it is not custom to tip we felt that a little more information could of been provided prior to booking and hence being able to factor it our budgeting. We were however so pleased with everything else with this tour company that we are currently in the process of deciding our next place to visit through them.Show more
- SUSAN· September 29th, 2025The tour managed to give us the essence of Sri Lanka. A great balance of cultural, scenic and fun activities. Expect lots of driving especially in the first week but the countryside is interesting and constantly changing. We felt safe at all times thanks to our guide Naline who had a great sense of humour and went out of his way to make our experience memorable. There was flexibility within the tour to make minor adjustments. There was no problem with the pick up from the airport even though our flight was delayed. The hotels were absolutely amazing and not a single one had disappointed us - great food and lovely pools. So many highlight - the safaris, beautiful beaches, magnificent temples and cultural sites, water rafting - to name a few. The first half of the tour is busy with some long days with the second half being more relaxed with some much needed down time. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour - a beautiful country, gentle people but be prepared for driving in Sri Lanka which is at time a bit hair raising!Show more

Asked on July 24th, 2023I just wanted to find out what time we would return back to Colombo on the 28th? Because the flight that I would need to catch that day is at 1pm on the 28th.
BH Lanka Tours Operator•Written July 2023According to your departure flight at 1 pm on 28th sep 2023 You have to be at the air port around 10.00 am - 10.30 am. Then you have to skip the colombo city tour which is at the last day of your tour itinerary in order to catch the return flight without any delay. If that is ok with your side we can arrange the AIrport drop off from Bentota.
