I’ll start by saying that the places we went (Athens, Zakynthos, Mykonos, & Santorini) on this tour were amazing. As for Travel Zone, eh. It was nice having transportation waiting for us (most of the time) at each point, but there was a lack of communication and we didn’t know where they were depending on the driver. There is also a lot of wasted time waiting around since they have you to the ports sometimes over 2 hours before the departure. Of the 3 “guided” tours as part of this trip, the first in Zakynthos was not guided at all. The driver said nothing and just dropped us off at each place. We didn’t do the tour in Mykonos, but the tour guide, Agatha in Santorini was a hoot. However, this tour specifically said when we booked that it starts in the morning and ends with lunch. That was not the case and we ended up having to eat the cost of a dinner reservation deposit. The accommodations were good, especially in Mykonos and with the best location. Zakynthos was in a prime location, but the rooms were so small and old. The hotel in Santorini was nice, but in Kamari, which I felt was like a cheap boardwalk area you’d see in the states (I.e. Myrtle Beach, Ocean City, Jersey Shore). It would have been much better had it been in Oia. Overall, the Greek islands are amazing, but I would not go through this company again. The fact that they made my husband and I pay the same rate, even though we shared a room should had been the writing on the wall.Show more

We traveled to Greece with a family of 7 (it can be pretty hectic), and we opted to take 1 Island visit off of the listed trip on Tourdar. I will say this was one of the best trips of our life. The service.from the tour company was remarkable, and the one hiccup we did have with a small added booking was straightened out quickly and professionally.
