- LWLaura· September 23rd, 2023We had George as our guides with abouts 50 years experience. He spoke clearly with a deep resonant voice that was nice to listen to. He was extremely knowledgeable and willing to share and explain. While at Delphi, there was a strike and the museum hours were limited as well as the number of people to be admitted may have been limited. George gathered our group of 22 at the entrance and spoke until we could be admitted. He had already highlighted what we would see and gave additional information inside. George also made sure our group was aware of when photos could not be taken, or to take respectful photos, or not to eat/drink inside museums, etc. I saw other groups that the museum staff reprimanded for things George already told us. Made it more enjoyable. My husband and I left after our planned 3 days, and the tour go combined to approximately 60 people. I do not know how that went. George had a powerful voice, but hopefully they provided George with a microphone and ear buds for the tourists. Otherwise it would have been difficult to see and hear. As a tour guide, George was simply my favorite. If I can get back to Greece soon, I would make a point of trying to take any tour He led. He was that good.Show moreTrip date: September 2023

Would not want to stay in bus any longer; Olympia, Delphi, coastline and small villages along the way packed a lot in; much more than other tours.
