The north is totally different from south spain. The tour is along the costal areas. Many old towns and is self guided tour. Basically the agency transport you from point to point. Once reach, it will be self guided tour on your own. You take a map from the hotel or use Google map then explore the area on your own. Some of the hotel stays were below 3 stars especially the last one. Perhaps they want to save electricity and the lobby was dim. Not light up. Communication from the tour coordinator (not tour guide that accompanied us) got to be clear and better. Information keeps changing especially on timing. Not recommended for those who speak English only.Show more

It was a good tour. There were many Spanish speaking tourists there but they accommodated well for the only 2 English speaking tourists, us. Alonso, our guide, was very easy to understand and very helpful. You do spend a lot of time traveling the 1st day, but the last 3 days gives you more time in the cities. This is more of a tour to go into a town for max 2.5 hours or less and take pictures/eat/etc. This is how most tours are though, and we are ok with that. It allows us to see more of the country. The dinners are a great addition to the tours. They give you full meals and allows you to get to know some of the other tourists. Overall, good experience for what we paid!Show more

It really was a well organised and managed tour. Excellent selection of cities and hotels, good vans and expert/ chatty drivers, especially Gabreal. Just a few suggestions, please, not complaints: 1. Please try and skip Oviedo city. There is nothing there to see, except the church and the old city.The hotel selected also was not as per the quality of the other 2 hotels we stayed in. And obviously the quality of food served was nothing to talk about!!! 3. Can we instead look at staying in Salamanca? Or near that great city? What a place to visit. We could spend more quality time there instead of Oviedo. And we were given just an hour...totally inadequate, please. 4. Perhaps we can have a taped information message of each place we visit, since the drivers of the vans had just basic information about each town, not what a professional guide has. Clearly the element of cost control was being implemented!!! 5. Please do include a city tour of both Barcelona and Madrid. In any case, we pay to use the city tour on the red/ yellow buses. So include that 14/16 euros in your tour amount and increase the rates charged accordingly. I am sure your guests will pay willingly. We would have loved a city tour with an experienced guide. Overall a magnificent experience and we are still raving about this visit to our friends and family, back in India.Show more
