Teruel
You'll arrive in Teruel and check into your hotel, then spend time exploring this UNESCO World Heritage city known for its Mudéjar architecture. The Escalinata Neomudéjar and Torre del Salvador are both worth seeing up close. Local food here features black truffle prominently, and you should learn about the famous Lovers of Teruel while you're here—it's a significant part of the city's history.

Estación Mora
This is a 47 km cycling day from Teruel to Estación Mora. You'll tackle Puerto de Escandón, an old mining railway station, then cross Sierra Javalambre with its stone bridges, viaducts, and tunnels surrounded by kermes oaks. After lunch at La Fondica de la Estación (an old mining station with a nice outdoor terrace), you'll finish your ride into Estación Mora. This area is known for truffle tourism and has some of Spain's clearest night skies.

Estación Mora to Segorbe
Today's 67 km ride takes you from Estación Mora to Segorbe through forests of Valencian and kermes oaks. You'll pass through Navajas, where El Salto de la Novia waterfall is worth stopping for, and from the Ragudo outlook you can see across to Sierra Calderona and Sierra Espadán natural parks. Segorbe itself is a heritage town with a historic center designated as Cultural Interest Heritage. Your afternoon is free to walk around the old town and get a feel for the place.

- Day 4
Torres Torres
Your final cycling day covers 25 km through inland villages and citrus groves, passing through the Sierra Calderona Natural Park to reach Torres Torres. Once there, you'll have wood fire paella before heading out, wrapping up your tour through Spain's truffle region.
