Luang Prabang
Your private guide and driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. From there, the rest of the day is yours to settle in, relax, or wander around the city at your own pace and get a feel for what Luang Prabang is like.

- Day 2
Luang Prabang
Start early with a private alms-giving ceremony, then board a boat and head out along the Mekong River to see Buddhist sites and local villages. You'll stop at Ban Xang Hai Village to try some rice wine, followed by a visit to Pak Ou Caves where thousands of Buddha images fill the space. Next comes Ban Phanom Village, which is known for its fabric and natural dyeing work. After that, head back to explore Wat Visoun, the oldest temple in the city, and Wat Aham before returning to your hotel.

Luang Prabang
Check out the Royal Palace Museum in the morning to learn about Laotian royal history, then wander through the bustling Phousi Market. Later, head to Kuang Si Falls and spend time in the rainforest with its natural turquoise pools. In the afternoon, come back downtown to see Wat Xieng Thong, the city's most famous temple, and then tour Wat Mai, which has finely carved walls and wooden pillars showing ancient rural life and Buddhist scenes.

Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng
Your guide and driver will pick you up and take you to Luang Prabang Railway Station. Board a 1-hour express train heading to Vang Vieng, a destination known for outdoor activities with karst landscapes and lagoons surrounding the area. Once you arrive, your local guide and driver will meet you and take you to your hotel.

- Day 5
Vang Vieng to Vientiane
Walk through Tham Jang Cave, a site that provided shelter during wartime in the early 19th century, and see well-lit karst stalactites and stalagmites. Continue to Tham Phoukham Cave in the rainforest to check out the stalactites, underground rivers, and a bronze reclining Buddha figure. Visit the Blue Lagoon located in front of the cave, then your guide and driver will take you on a 2-hour scenic drive toward Vientiane.

Vientiane
Head to the vibrant morning market early to see how locals live and shop. Then visit Wat Si Saket, which holds thousands of Buddha images collected from around Vientiane. After that, stop at Wat Ho Phra Keo to see the king's throne, Khmer statues, and various Buddha statues. Spend time at the National Museum learning about Lao history through its exhibits. In the afternoon, head to Pha That Luang Temple, Laos' most sacred Buddhist site, and the Patuxai Monument, which represents Laos' independence.

Vientiane to Phonsavan
After breakfast, your guide and driver will take you to Vientiane airport for a 35-minute flight to Phonsavan. Your local guide and driver will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Take a walk around the central market to see the variety of goods, then visit the MAG headquarters to learn about landmine clearance efforts in the region. Next, head out to explore the UNESCO-listed Plain of Jars, one of the most mysterious sites in Southeast Asia.

Phonsavan
Head out on an excursion to Muang Kham with a brief stop at the hill tribe village of Ban Thajok along the way. After the bumpy ride, you'll have a chance to relax in the natural hot springs in Muang Kham. Visit Tham Piu Cave, where residents took shelter during the Vietnam War (1955-1975). Your guide and driver will then take you back to your hotel.
