Itinerary
- Day 1
Guangzhou to Yangshuo
A driver picks you up from your Guangzhou hotel and takes you to Guangzhou South Railway Station for a 2-hour bullet train to Yangshuo. Once you arrive, you'll transfer to Xingping Old Village for a local boat ride on the Li River, the same scenic stretch that appears on China's 20-yuan currency note. From there, head up Xianggong Mountain to get a hilltop view looking back over the Li River. By evening, walk through the night market on West Street in Yangshuo where you can pick up snacks and local goods.

Yangshuo
Travel to the Yulong River area where you can choose between biking or taking a sightseeing cart through rice paddies with karst mountains all around you. Later, climb Moon Hill for views of the whole landscape spread below. After lunch, return to Yangshuo and you'll have the rest of the day free to wander around on your own and check out whatever interests you.

Yangshuo to Congjiang to Zhaoxing
Take a 1.5-hour bullet train from Yangshuo to Congjiang in the morning. Once there, head to Basha Village, called 'The Last Gun Tribe', which is a small Miao village that hasn't been heavily affected by modern development. Both men and women wear traditional costumes and keep their long hair long. Later, travel to Zhaoxing Dong Village, one of the larger Dong villages in the region with more than 700 households and around 4,000 residents.

- Day 4
Zhaoxing
Spend the day exploring Zhaoxing village and the surrounding areas with a local guide who can explain the history of the old buildings and the large Drum Towers. Later, head to TangAn Village higher up in the hills to see traditional houses and walk through rice terraces. You'll get to experience the quiet mountain air and countryside scenery.

Zhaoxing to Libo
After breakfast, drive for 2.5 hours to Libo. You'll visit both the Large Seven-Hole Bridge and Small Seven-Hole Bridge Scenic Zones, which are UNESCO heritage sites with karst mountains and river landscapes. Check into your hotel once you finish exploring these two areas.

Libo to Guangzhou
Drive 1.5 hours to Sandu Railway Station and board a 4-hour bullet train back to Guangzhou. When you arrive, the driver drops you at your hotel or the Garden Hotel, and that's where your tour ends.
