Your representative meets you at the hotel when you arrive in Mumbai. After you settle in, take a walk along Marine Drive where you'll see the Arabian Sea stretching out in front of you. Later, head over to Crawford Market to see what's on offer there and get a feel for the local energy and variety of goods.

Mumbai
Start the morning at the Gateway of India, then catch a ferry out to Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO site with ancient temples carved into rock and dedicated to Lord Shiva. By afternoon, you'll visit Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station and walk through the Fort area to see heritage buildings. Before the day ends, stop at Hanging Gardens and spend some time browsing what Colaba markets have to offer.

Head out to explore North Goa's cultural sites, beginning with the Basilica of Bom Jesus where you can see relics of St. Francis Xavier. From there, visit the Se Cathedral and then make your way to Fort Aguada for views across the Arabian Sea. Stop by Mapusa markets to browse local spices, textiles, and crafts. If you'd prefer something different, water sports or time on Calangute or Baga beaches are good options instead.
