Shanghai
You'll get picked up at the airport and taken straight to your hotel in Shanghai. The rest of the day is yours to unwind and get settled into your room after traveling.

Shanghai
A local guide shows you around Shanghai's cultural side today. You'll walk along the Bund, then head to Yu Garden and the Jade Buddha Temple. After that, you've got Nanjing East Road and Xintiandi on the schedule. If City God Temple is open instead of Yuyuan Garden on Mondays, that swap happens automatically.

Shanghai to Suzhou
The car ride to Suzhou takes about 1.5 hours from Shanghai. Once there, you'll see two of the city's famous gardens, the Net Master Garden and Humble Administrator's Garden. Later you'll take a boat ride on the Grand Canal, check out the Silk Museum, and walk around Shantang Street to get a feel for the old town.

Suzhou to Wuzhen
After breakfast, it's another hour-long drive to Wuzhen Water Town, one of the region's most well-known water towns. The town splits into east and west sections, and staying in the west part lets you catch the evening light reflecting off the water, which is really the best time to see it.

- Day 5
Wuzhen to Hangzhou
You'll have breakfast, then drive about an hour to Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province. Once there, you've got West Lake and Lingyin Temple to see, and then you'll head out to the Longjing Tea Plantation to learn how the local tea is grown and produced.

Hangzhou to Shanghai
The 2.5-hour drive back to Shanghai happens after breakfast. By late morning or early afternoon, you're back in the city with the rest of the day open for whatever you want to do on your own.

Shanghai
Check out of your hotel by noon and the tour ends. If you need a ride to the airport or elsewhere, that's something you'll arrange separately since it's not included in the package.
