For the complimentary shuttle service, arriving flights should land no later than 12:00 p.m., and departing flights should be around 4:00 p.m. to fit the regular schedule. If your flight times are outside these hours, a private transfer will be required at an additional cost of $145 per way.

We had a lovely time. The itinerary key we were instructed to use had some incorrect or missing information regarding the times we would be picked up but generally was correct. The tour company was responsive but the link they gave me wasn’t helpful because I didn’t notice there were multiple icons, one of which was the day to day itinerary with the correct times. Other than that and the rainy weather for most of the trip, we had a very nice time. We saw multiple animals and the tour guides were helpful in making sure we could see them and get great photos. The hotels were very nice- we paid for the upgrade to 4 star. The Trapp family lodge was beautiful, but the room was cold and drafty, and the wind blowing across the roof was noisy. They provided a space heater and extra blankets which helped. The food was good.Show more

For tours departing after May 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Destination Services Costa Rica. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
