  We would like to do this tour as a private tour for the two of us, using a car and driver and staying in decent hotels (absolute minimum 3*). We would like to begin the tour leaving Jaipur on Day 1. We would like to include two nights in Pushkar and then the other destinations on this tour and ending in Jodhpur where we will then fly on to Delhi. We hope to spend about 8-10 days on the tour.

    Day 1, 1 Feb, 23: Jaipur - Pushkar (145kms)
    Drive to Pushkar check in at hotel. Rest time free and easy to relax and explore the ghat on walk. O/n at hotel.
    
    Day 2, 2 Feb, 23: Pushkar
    Breakfast at hotel. Visit of Pushkar Lake which has 52 bathing ghats, Brahma & Savitri Temple. Also visit Nasiyan Jain Temple, Khwaja Dargah E Sharif, Adhai Din Ka Jhonpda, Anasagar Lake in nearby town Ajmer. O/n at hotel.
    
    Day 3, 3 Feb, 23: Pushkar - Udaipur (280kms)
    Breakfast at hotel, drive to Udaipur. Enroute visit Eklingji and Nagda temples. Arrive and check in at hotel. Rest time free and easy to relax and explore the city with your driver. Evening boat ride on Lake Pichola. O/n at hotel.
    
    Day 4, 4 Feb, 23: Udaipur
    Breakfast at hotel. Visit City Palace, Sajjangarh Palace, Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Bada Mahal, Eklingji & Nagda Temple, Shilpgram & Hathi Pol Bazar. Evening watch Dharohar folk dance show. O/n at hotel.
    
    Day 5, 5 Feb, 23: Udaipur - Jodhpur (265kms)
    Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Jodhpur, enroute visit Ranakpur Jain Temple complex. Continue drive to Jodhpur, check in at hotel. O/n at hotel.
    
    Day 6, 6 Feb, 23: Jodhpur
    Breakfast at hotel. Visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace & Museum, Mandore Temples, Gardens & Cenotaphs. O/n at hotel.
    
    Day 7, 7 Feb, 23: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer (265kms)
    Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Jaisalmer enroute visit Pokhran Fort & Palaces. There is a museum in the fort displaying the royal collection of weapons, clothes, paintings and handicrafts. On arrival check in at hotel. O/n at hotel.
    
    Day 8, 8 Feb, 23: Jaisalmer
    Breakfast at hotel. Visit Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Ji Ki Haveli, Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli, Mandir Palace, Bada Bagh, Kuldhara abandoned village and Gadi Sagar Lake. Later excursion to Sam Sand Dunes for witnessing the unparalleled views of sunset, enjoying the music & dance performances, satisfying your taste buds with the delicious, authentic local cuisine & safari in the desert.

    Sorry, I have been looking at the map and the distances and I think that the following itinerary might suit us best as we have visited Udaipur before, so we can miss it and also Jaisalmer seems too far:-
    
    Leaving Jaipur and then the following destinations in this order, if you think it would work:-
    
    Jaipur
    Mandawa
    Bikaner
    Nagaur
    Khimsar
    Pushkar
    Jodhpur
    
    We could then fly from Jodhpur to Delhi. I am thinking that maybe we should stay two nights in each of Mandawa, Bikaner, Pushkar and Jodhpur and one night in Khimsar (we would like to see the rat temple) to make it a more relaxed experience (my husband and I are in our 60's). Would that sound like a reasonable tour and itinerary do you think? That would make it a 9 night tour.

    I recommend ending the tour in Jaipur. It will save driving distance and cost a little. Also, you can get a better flight deal from Jaipur to Delhi.

    Breakfast at hotel. Visit Mandawa Fort, Hanuman Prasad Goenkas Haveli, Jhunjhunwalas Haveli, Saraf Haveli, Murmurias Haveli, Raghunath Ji Temple, Ladia Haveli, Chokhani Haveli, Newatia Havelis, Lord Krishna Temple and more. O/n at hotel.
    
    Day 5: Mandawa - Bikaner (195kms)
    Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Bikaner check in at hotel. Rest time free and easy to relax and explore the city with your driver. O/n at hotel.
    
    Day 6: Bikaner
    Breakfast at hotel. Morning excursion to Jorbeed to spot some raptors. Later visit Junagadh Fort, Lallgarh Palace & Museum, Laxmi Niwas Palace, Rampuria Group of Havelis. Also, visits the Camel Breeding Farm. O/n at hotel.
    
    Day 7: Bikaner - Deshnok - Nagaur - Khimsar (195kms)
    Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Khimsar via visiting Karni Mata Temple. Next stop to visit Nagour Fort initially built by ruler of Nag dynasty in 2nd century and was then rebuilt in the early 12th century. Continue driving to Khimsar check in at hotel. Evening Jeep Safari in Sand Dunes Village. O/n at hotel.
    
    Day 8: Khimsar - Jodhpur (100kms)
    Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Jodhpur, check in at hotel. Rest time free and easy to relax and explore the city with your driver. O/n at hotel.
    
    Day 9: Jodhpur

    Thank you for all the information and the pricing options. We are thinking about booking the trip based on the 3 star hotels price of 95.016 INR, but please could we change two of the hotels as we don't like the sound of them from some of the reviews online or their locations?
