How is luggage handled inbetween hotels

Once you meet your Tour Director, you don't have to handle your suitcase for the rest of your journey! At every hotel, your primary suitcase is delivered to your bedroom door and collected before departure and any gratuities for the bell staff are included in the cost of your tour. Remember, on guided tours, you are permitted only one piece of luggage and one carry-on bag per person. You are responsible for transporting your carry-on bag between the vehicle and hotel each day.

In the course of this visit, we had two different guides, and then at the end, the driver also was our guide. This was a new experience for us. I understand there's a lot to see and not a lot of time and every place you visit some people would like to spend more time there while others may not. But some of the locations really do require additional time, s to take it in. Given this may be the only time you'll get an opportunity to visit there. The hotels on this dream vacation largely were small and do not have air conditioning. At a very hot time of the year. Mostvin are group were not pleased. The meals were mostly fine.Breakfast was exactly the same or thereabout the same every breakfast we had. The sheep hearder ther in Scotland was absolutely amazing. Sometime when free time was given to us, the hotel was not in a very good location for walking or grabbing a quick cab. We really did have a great time. And it is stress free because you're gonna get on the bus and get where you're supposed to be in a timely manner.There are lots of pros to this. My wife and I were not comfortable with one particular driver repeatedly talking about tipping. How much to tip where to see how much to tip and joked by getting two thousand pounds tip.Show more

Onya, our Scotland guide was fantastic and would play folk music specific to the region we would be driving thru. Darragh, our Ireland guide & driver, gave us a great flavor of his country, and always put our comfort before his. John, our Scotland/N.Ireland/Dublin driver was fun, Safe, courteous, and fun. CIE had a wonderful luxury bus with big windows. CIE's logistics were perfect, with the right amount of time at each stop, with a full day of sight-seeing with the right amount of free time.
