Arrival in Yerevan
Your flight lands at Zvartnots International Airport where a transfer picks you up and takes you to your hotel. After checking in, you'll have the rest of the day to settle into your room and recover from travel.

- Day 2
Yerevan City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll spend the day walking through Yerevan and seeing how the city blends old and new. Republic Square is first, followed by the Cascade Complex where you can walk among art installations and take in views from Victory Park. The Opera House and Freedom Square come next. After lunch at a local spot, you'll head to the Armenian Genocide Memorial Park and then Matenadaran to see its collection of Armenian manuscripts. Dinner rounds out the evening at a local restaurant.

Lake Sevan, Garni, and Geghard Monastery
Today you're heading to Lake Sevan, the region's largest high-altitude freshwater lake. First stop is Sevan Peninsula for monastery visits and lake views. From there, you'll go to Garni where lunch happens at a local house and you'll watch traditional lavash bread baking and barbecue being prepared in an underground tonir stove. The 1st-century Temple of Garni shows off Hellenistic architecture, then you're on to Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO site set in the Azat River gorge. A welcome dinner at a traditional Armenian restaurant ends the day.

- Day 4
Etchmiadzin and Yerevan Brandy Factory
The drive to Etchmiadzin takes about 20 km from Yerevan. There you'll see the Ruins of Zvartnots Temple, a UNESCO-listed structure from the 7th century, and Etchmiadzin Cathedral, one of the oldest churches still standing, built in 303 A.D. on top of a former pagan fire altar. Lunch happens at a local house or restaurant. Back in Yerevan, you'll tour the Yerevan Brandy Factory founded in 1887, which won recognition at the Paris International Exhibition in 1900. The factory museum gives you background, and you'll taste aged cognacs. Later you have free time before a farewell dinner at a traditional Armenian restaurant with live folk music.
